How would one know if their case is in the new system or not? Thanks!

Same happened to me! I wrote to them during the weekend of the 17th of June...Got an answer the following week, but I actually got my casse number on the 19th and it had been sent out on the 16th and case assigned since the 14th...

Ysa and I are super happy for you HazeyHaze. Her interview is Monday, so we are going crazy a bit, but Ysa is super organized and I think she is very ready for this. Once again CONGRATS!!!

Good luck tomorrow. :)

The affidavit we need is the I-134. I can't recall if it was in the first petition, but we do not need to do/redo it  that is for sure! The K1 fiancé visa wasn't applied directly through NVC.

Hi PR,

i'm still a little hung up on the I-134.

A) Do i (the beneficiary) need to fill one out and bring to the interview?

B) Does my fiance (the petitioner) need to fill one and send methe document, along with her W-2 tax return?

Best,

James

Did you guys wait for it to be "ready" before booking your medical? I'm contemplating booking my medical even though ours still says "at nvc".

I think it depends on the embassy instructions. Personally, I would follow them. Why goof everything up at the last minute over a few days?

It depends where you are. I cannot see your country here, but some places you can take your appointment but others you gotta wait for the consulate to reach out (like in Canada). Also the medical is only valid for 6 months for the interview and one year for the AOS. So the longer you wait the better...

Hello,

Your fiancé needs to fill one out. Or you can fill it for him, but he needs to sign it and send it to you. Some people says it needs to be wet signature, others say no. So I had my fiancé actually mail it, I'm not taking any chance.

I hope she can do a review of the questions she was asked and what documents were requested for us.
