We called both NVC numbers but it was the non-immigrant that gave us the news and the case number. Yes, we just asked for the case number.

Knightsbridge is the right place 😁

And we choose to schedule the interview 11 days after the medical. Knightsbridge says to wait 5 days. We doubled that. To avoid issues it's best to make sure your medical results are at the embassy before the interview.

thanks for th

thanks for the reply!

We have got the case number now! they received it yesterday.

do you think we should book the medical now? what if London get my medical records before they even recieve our application from NVC, they could be like "well what do we do with these?!" if you get me?

We are stuck and time is running out we just want to get it done ASAP!

On the subject I wrote my WAC# Followed by AskIng them to change the dob

then on the body of the letter, I told them we are requesting to change the DATE of birth of the beneficiary because I said they have it wrong in the system.. then i said I attached the picture of my birth certificate and passport biopage.. I even put the beneficiary's name and date of birth even the petitioner's name.. But last Sunday, Saturday in the US, I sent another mail but in details.. I added what happened when i called last Thursday. :3

I don't know what to do. :(( You think it should be scanned or a clear picture is fine? My fiancé will call this morning.. Do you think they already updated it? I'm sorry.. I'm starting to panic. :((

It hasn't been very long yet, and just so you know, it won't affect the final result or anything.  The Embassy will fix this if the NVC doesn't fix it. The Embassy receives the actual packet and reviews these things. The worst that can happen is you don't get your case number from NVC, instead you get it from the Embassy.  So don't stress out.  Like I said, it hasn't been very long and the NVC is swamped this time of year, they got the information your sent, it will be fixed by them or Embassy.  The "When" is out of your control, but it will happen.  Its literally only been a few days, so stay calm.

My fiance had his interview yesterday. He was NOT approved. They said we needed "proof of relationship".  I guess the chat logs, pictures, western union receipts etc. weren't good enough.

Oh no! Do you think maybe one of his answers did not match what's on your documents? Because your answers are also considered as "proof" that your relationship is genuine. Did the CO explain further?

My fiancee had his interview yesterday and they said they couldn't make a decision right now. The officer said, he has all the documents and he wasn't missing anything. She did go through all the pictures we had which was about 20 pictures with each other and family in it as well and our conversations. She handed back the evidence and said we will contact you in a couple of weeks. Sigh :/ but the officer kept, my tax returns with my pay stubs and his birth certificate and his police report. My fiance had two police report cause he moved to Turkey last year, he was living in Afghanistan his whole life. So they only kept his police report from Afghanistan. Waiting is all we can do now....

He answered all the questions correctly. I think it has more to do with his mother being in the U.S.  He said they asked alot of questions about her.  They might assume he wants to come here for her instead of getting married. Even though he hasn't seen her in 32 years, but he didn't mention that.

They just asked the standard questions about our relationship. How we met. What I did for a living. When we plan on getting married.  They didn't deny him. They said just mail in more proof of an established relationship and his passport. So I think we might still have a chance. We have more proof to send so we're working on that now.

You will be fine.  This part my fiance had no trouble with the interview.  Just the basic questions.  You will make it easy.  ;)   (of course now we are just waiting for them to get the medical report they should have already gotten)
