My fiancé called again yesterday and they said theu couldn't give it to him since my birth date didn't match the system.. :((

Not sure if it would help but I would call uscis ask for tier 2 and see if they know the date put on the form?  They should have access if I am not mistaken.

I think he did request to correct the birth date first, though. Let's wait for @SkruDe to go online. :) I'm sure he can help you out.

Thank you! I already sent them my birth certificate and passport biopage.. Same day they told me that it didn't match to their system. Hopefully by Monday or Tuesday they get to read my emails. :(( do you think I will still be able to receive a hardcopy of nvc letter from them? From what I've read, they send out letters right when they created the NVC case number.. I'm starting to get anxious. :(( if only I'm not a candidate for sputum, I wouldn't get like this

I understand the frustration.   It took me about a week after the nvc received online for me to get the hard copy in the mail.

Good luck and try not to stress.....altho I do so constantly until she is here ;)

What did you mean by after the nvc received online? You mean after they received the petition?

This is getting so stressful. :(( I didn't see that coming..

thank you, anyway. I find this thread helpful. :))

Hello everyone! March filer here.. I just want to know if anybody here got the same problem with ours.. We already have our NOA2.. I called the NVC yesterday for my case number, they couldn't give it to me since the date of birth did not match. :(( they are asking me to email them a copy of my birth certificate and passport, I already did that right away.. Now, I want to know if someone has encountered the same case with me? How did it take until you get an update? Did you still get a hardcopy of the NVC letter containing the NVC number? Please help me. :(( It's so frustrating already..

:(( I just really wanted to know if we are still going to receive a hardcopy of the letter.. According to other k1 filers, they received the hardcopy a week after the NVC received the petition. If so, I will have to just wait the hardcopy until next week.. coz they received ours last July 5th.. :((

Yep, I went thru this.  What happened was the USCIS officer inputted the wrong birth data into the system.  The NVC does not have the hard copy petitions in front of them.  All those are stored at an offsite facility.  All they have is a computer infront of them with data and info of your petition.  So you can tell them you are right and look at the petition, but they don't have the petition.  All they have is the USCIS officer's error in the computer screen in front of them.

Anyways, when this happened to me I called the NVC, asked for my status.  The guy on the phone asked the basic questions, name and birthday, and WAC number.  Well, obviously, Birthday was wrong so he could not tell me any info. So he put me thru the process of sending an email to the NVC with birth certificate, passport, just like you.

The goods is they can fix this problem before it gets sent to the Embassy.  Here's where I explain everything: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/621813-january-2017-i-129f-filers/?do=findComment&comment=8605130

Hope that helps!

Hi! Thank you so much! While reading this, I felt better. They just received our case last July 5th.. July 6th, I called again to get my case number but they couldn't give it to me so I did what they told me to do.. Sent the picture of my birth certificate and a passport biopage.. Will that be okay? It's a clear picture of it that shows my date of birth.. So do I have to keep sending them an email? :(( I somehow felt better when i read your experience. My fiancé called again the next day, they told him that the date of birth did nit match.. So maybe I just need to call again next week? Did they send you back an email ? :((

Thank you.  Well, as usual we always get a hiccup.   She passed the interview and her paperwork she brought was fine. BUT, they had not received her I129F (which I called NVC and they said embassy has had it since 6/9 and they just can't find it, probably the new electronic file) and the medical they did not have.  The consular just told her needed the medical and that everything seemed ok.  So, I guess I wait for Administrative Process to change....  As usual making us crazy again, but I have faith and we did everything by the book.

I brought the medical with me. I think she should do that.. during the medical, they gave me an envelope which they will open on the day of the interview :) so maybe, she has to check again?

I would wait till Tuesday July 11th before calling again.

In my case the beneficiary date of birth was wrong so they asked me to send the beneficiary birth certificate and passport bio page.  I also added a translation of the birth certificate just to be safe, though it wasn't specifically asked for.  The subject heading of the email I was told to make my as my WAC receipt number.

You don't have to keep sending them emails, as long as it doesn't get bounced back to you (like my first one did) then you are fine.

They never send an email back.  I waited for one and never got it.  I found out by calling again the next week.

I just sent a picture of it since I wanted to send it right away.. I sent it Friday over here, 5:30 in the morning and afternoon of Thursday in the US. I am the beneficiary. Mine is the wrong info.. I will just send another letter on Monday when I get back to work with a scan of my passport biopage and birth certificate.. just to make sure..

I went over that with her beforehand, as she had a referral before she could get her immunizations.  (dermatology??)  They said they would forward the exam.  I told her not to trust that, but she did.  Anyway, supposedly it will get resolved soon. No requests for anything else given.  I will let you know..  Again congrats on your incoming visa.
