Hey thank you for taking the time to scan all of the cases. However one person in January that I know of so far received a response because her case was expedited.. Question why is so many cases in January rejected? I can't see the reason because it's cut off?

Because they sent the incorrect fee! :)

Hi guys

just want to make sure I am on top of things for when the NOA2 arrives (hopefully). We need to obtain a copy of our police records right?

What do we need to apply for? does anyone know how long it will take? and how long it is valid for? sorry for all the questions but if I apply to get it now to save further time it would help right? if it is still valid for a few months.

thanks

Hey,

I'm from the UK so might be able to send some light on things more for you!

This is the website you need to apply on: https://www.acro.police.uk/police_certificates.aspx

It says on their website it will take 10-14 days to process & this is what they say about validity, i've highlighted the most important part:

"There is no set period of time for which the Police Certificate is considered to be valid. The Police Certificate is only truly accurate on the date of issue. Embassies, high commissions, consulates or other authorities will usually require you to produce a Police Certificate which has been issued less than six (6) months before your visa interview."

The embassy website is really useful, I'm going to use that a lot after NOA2 arrives. Tells you everything you need to know to prepare for your interview:

https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/fiancee-2/applying-for-a-fiancee-visa-instructions/

Hope this helps!

That's not the only reason why they were rejected?

Yup I'm sure it wasn't but that seems to be one of the main reasons due to the fee change :)

Withdrawal , no signature , empty boxes are the reasons

Yup as I said above, there will be multiple reasons. But looking at the spreadsheet - there were a lot of applications rejected due to the incorrect fee :)

Wasn't try to be smart - I was trying to be helpful and answer your original question but no problem, good luck on the rest of your journey.
