That's great to hear! So I guess you're right that they're not too strict if you've never been married, but knowing how much of a worrier I am, I'll still probably secure one a week before my interview. :'D

I might do the same thing for a peace of mind hahaha. My fiance was convicted for one DUI and hes teling me many times that it wont be asked but then I insisted that the CO might ask now I am the loser of our deal hahaha he won because hes right. None of the proofs we prepared were asked. I bought three thick binders and one expanded envelope non of those were asked. But I still bought them with me today for a peace of mind and I would suggest that we should dress up nice and professional because it gives big impact to the CO they are so appreciative in seeing applicants in a professional look. This is just an observation but most applicants who did not dress up for the appointment were asked more like the consuls were testing the way they have communication spontaneously and if your fiance guys is an American please avoid having the interview in tagalog because that can be a red flag.

Peeps do both petitioner and beneficiary get emails from the NVC with the case number or is it just a letter in the mail for the petitioner? Both me and my fiance have added our email addresses to our I-129f Form...

in our case. Only the US petioner received the NVC letter. But both (Petitioner and beneficiary) received the eligibility letter. All were snail mails.

hey guys were still waiting for MNL case number we received NOA2 june7 and we didnt received MNL case # yet do u think how many weeks or days we need to wait thanks in advance

I waited two weeks, called, and the case was received.  I called a couple of days later and a number was assigned.  A week after that it was on its way to Manila.  I believe my timeline has most of that info.  Good luck.

I am finishing up my DS160, I believe we do not need our NVC number input there right? Only receipt...As  I am reviewing the DS160 I was looking for the spot for the NVC number and I cannot find it.

Correct. There is an instruction on the right corner of the form that syays something like the number you got from USCIS. Clearly not the nvc number. We put the receipt number. When it prompts you to write the priority date( it won't let you go on without this), you just write the receipt date of the NOA 1

I am so worried now! We had filled out the DS160 and have the interview planned! We have paid the visa fee already and used the confirmation number, hopefully this will not affect us! So stressed now! the trick worked when you hit previous and then it ask for the education history.

Mybe best thing to do first is to call your US embassy hotline in your country. Tell your issues. They might have a solution for you
