Our NOA1 was January 13th.

i have a feeling within the next two weeks it will be our turn! Fingers crossed!

We are expecting an RFE, but will be delighted when we get it!

Does anyone know a rough time frame of how long the process takes after approval? I want to start looking at flights! Haha!

have a great day everyone!

Yes I just called and they allowed me to make an inquiry about my case.. idk if itll actually shed any light on whats going on when I receive it but figured I mine as well do it. It probably wont come until july 4th so I am also hoping I just hear about my case beforehand..

I think depends on NVC reps, your answer will be different. You can try to call back to NVC 0888 again to check your case meanwhile the other line is busy. Or you can try to call back the 0700 line again...

I called the 0700 line at the very early opening hour or almost closing hour to avoid holds and queues.

Good luck

Yes he calls them later again .. ugh I wish there would be a day where I don't have to freak out about things. Thank you!

I just want to say that I am glad they finally received your case! I'm sure you'll get your case number the next time you call.

Anyway, try calling them at a different time, maybe?

They already received it June 8th and they told us last week Thursday  .. so weird. Hope we get our case number today :(

I just went back and looked as well and it's very strange.  It only asks for my work and then when I go forward, it goes to additional information.  However, when I'm on additional If I want to go back, it brings me to "work previous" where it asks for previous employment and education.  That's the only way I could access it.

Yeah. Actually I heard exactly the same thing from another person. And the previous employment and education page didn't show up while I was filling the form. So it seems like I need to re-create my DS160 and update my profile with the new confirmation number...

I did as suggested by eastcoastgroove and it worked. Now I am wondering, I have had employment, but only student's job...do I need to provide that information or just provide school?

Jan 17th Received date I called on June 15th of last week and spoke to Tier 2 and he told me I am "2 days" within processing time. He told me I could call back after June 17th because ill be outside of processing time and to call this week, but i've also heard from people I will have to wait until they change the date to Feb 15th to make an inquiry.

I'm sorry to hear that, but if I were you,I would just send an inquiry, you can choose the second step which is you didn't receive any notice, I did it when I was waiting for my noa2 for 100 days only, they still replied me  although not useful answer, but you can also schedule an appointment in your nearby infopass, they can access to  the same level as tier 2 officer.hope it helps

Yep, on my DS-160 I have to fill out all of my education history above secondary level, including time periods and areas of concentration. It was under Work/Travel/Education information. I have had both J-1 and F1 visas before, which might have triggered it, but I don't know?

Did you fill it all from high school, or just most recent one? I attended high school, but also have a Master Degree now...Obviously if I have a master I have a bachelor...Can I just put the master info?

The instructions state "Have you attended any educational institutions at a secondary level or above?"  - which would include high school, and everything above it. So yes, you will need to put all of the institutions you have attended from high school up, including all of your degrees.

:( Jan 17th NOA1 no RFE no NOA2 yet, I am also starting to lose all hope in the process seeing all these people go for interviews in Jan and people in Feb n March receiving NOA2 already is definitely frustrating and upsetting. I am happy for everyone who is moving along just wish I would get some answers soon.

Try to call NVC. Maybe your papers are there already... Happens smt without getting mail of NOA2. I wish you luck and believe you will get good news soon!!! We were waiting also long and were happy to get RFE even... I completely understand how much frustrating it is... Good luck to you!!!

I am including all my schooling high school and up (even a university I was at for only 2 years before transferring to the one I got my bachelor's at). As to your work question, if they were still considered employment (ie did you get paid and fill out taxes), I would probably include them.

Joint taxes with my parents before I was 18...Since 4 years I think I have been having my own taxes. I only could put two, was it the same for you? That is the other fun of students' job. In the past 5 years I have had many! I am not able to put the two more, when I worked under a J1 visa in the US for like 4 months, had two jobs. I honestly don't even remember the name of my supervisors let alone their phone number haha. Lost all the data on my previous computer which makes it hard to find such info, but I could look around and try to provide the best info possible if they would let me add more than 2.

@chibijedi seemed to say that his embassy in Japan allowed him to fill a new DS160 and just update the number for his interview that was previously planned. If your interview hasn't been planned, I would say just fill a new one and use that right confirmation number.

I'm going to my medical next week, and I have been having trouble sleeping. Hopefully, my GP's letter will be enough for them to believe that I stopped cutting myself after high school and that I am not at all a threat to myself and others. I don't know why I am more worried about this than the x-ray, to be honest. xD Wish me luck!

Good luck! I am not sure I understand the big deal about having to go to the psych evaluation though. Even if you are scheduled, I am sure they will come to the same conclusion as your GP so in the end you will be perfectly fine :D!
