But I'm from Germany :( don't know how it is for us Germans. Feel like every German got it after two weeks and I'm at 23 days and soon 30 ..

just be honest and tell them it was in your past. I feel like it's a big deal to do the medical in the Philippines. Never heard of such a test before. Here you just go there in and out in a few hours or even less.

Wish you good luck!

Try not to worry too much or compare yourself. I am at 35 days, Canadians have received it in 32, or less as well. It can take up to 6 weeks and from what I gathered from them, it never happens that it doesn't get there. If they don't have it in their system it hasn't arrive yet (so I am being told). I do not know why some packages take more time than other, it really sucks, but it happens. Nothing you can do, nothing I can do, but take it as it comes.

I just wish we would have an explanation, but I guess there isn't. It just so happens that some packages take longer to travel I guess...

Thank you so much though for replying. I hope they receive yours soon!!!

I am very happy for you! If I was you or your fiancé, I would try calling tomorrow. People normally get it the day after it gets received. Here again, we are out of normal, but you really should get it anytime soon! Maybe mine arrived with yours haha!

Thank you. Yea seriously this is so damn annoying. All this waiting and waiting .. I'm so damn tired of this. I had to quit my job because I couldn't focus on it anymore. I got sick all the time because the process takes so much energy that I couldn't handle this anymore. So I hope I'll have my interview soon.

I know they want to make sure we're not 'dangerous' and normal civilized people but this is so difficult being apart from the person you love so much. It literally hurts

I totally hear you! I have a student job, and I am still finishing my master thesis. It is not advancing so well, work I am fine, it doesn't require much from me mentally, I just do what I have to do and it kind of numbs me out. We are "trying" to figure out a date, but we are scared that once again we will be delayed in every damn steps and being above normal average processing time. I am literally going nuts. I cannot handle this bullshit anymore.

Oh man we thought when we filed in January that I'll be with him in May :D so yea we don't try to figure things out anymore. It just hurts. ..  Yep, bullshit. Hang in there, at least it won't be another 4-5 months .. hopefully.

Hi All,

Anyone on here going through London Consulate. We also filed in January and we are waiting for the petition to arrive in London from the Consulate. It was sent from the NVC may 11. Just wondering if anyone else through London is experiencing the same?

Hang in there, dear! I noticed that cases going to Canada take a lot longer to get there, but it will, and I hope you get your case number soon.

I'm still not sure about July 20, though. Who knows what will happen during my medical. I'm almost 100% sure I will get scheduled for psych eval, but I really hope I don't get asked to do the sputum test.

What did the doctor see in her x-ray? I got an x-ray early this year and the doctor said I got nothing to worry about, but this still makes me anxious. :/ I hope your fiance gets cleared quickly!

You still have a few days before your interview, so I highly suggest you go to the PSA office to get a new copy of your CENOMAR. Some officers are strict and don't accept a CENOMAR that is more than a month old. A VJ member was asked to get a more recent copy during her interview even though the one she tried to submit was less than 2 months old. :( So yeah, I wouldn't risk taking a CENOMAR that I got in April if I were you. If you really can't, though, then let's just cross our fingers and hope for the best!

Yes, this happened to someone I know, too. Better safe than sorry, right?

Yeah I think because shes annuled the officer wants reverification. She was asked to fill out a form from PSA then us embassy will be the one to check it. Since our case is different we never been married so now all clear to me that its okay. Over here PSA OFFICE can only release the cenomar after 4days so it will be useless if ill go tomorrow. Idk in Pasay. I got few vj posers who told me that the cenomar shouldnt be 2 months old. I got a friend who did cr-1 who told me 6months is good. So most cases it depends on the consular officer. Idk what PSA OFFICE will issue a cenomar in one day. Am from Cavite.

If there's no way you can get more recent one now, then all you can do at this point is hope. I wish you the best! As for us, we will surely get a copy a week before our interview just to be sure.

If it isn't too noticeable, maybe they won't make him go to psych eval. There isn't much info about it, though, that's why I have been so stressed. I tried searching for threads online but only found a few, and they aren't very helpful.

All I know is that the doctor will check your wrists for marks (heroine)/scars (cuts). If you have them, you get sent to psych eval. I have read someone say that she wasn't scheduled for pysch eval, but this woman only has one very light scar. So yeah, I guess it's up to the doctor. I should be more worried than you since I have about 10 VERY visible cuts on my wrists, and I have my nickname "carved" on my hand as well. :P I will let you know what happens, though, since I will be doing the medical soon. Wish me luck!

But yeah, the best thing to do is to just tell the truth and not say things that will make them think you're unstable, I guess. I can't wait to get this over with! Haha

I have this weird feeling he will get sent to psych eval. He has gone to therapy and got a DUI in 2012. I think that is automatically confirmed after reading all of this. :( But yes, he's gonna be honest. Because of your post, he's actually gonna go to his doctor and see if he can get a letter verifying that he has no mental illnesses, drug or alcohol/problems and is not a harm to himself or others. I read people that have taken letters to their medicals. Fortunately (hope that this doesn't screw us), he was in therapy the beginning of the year because the process has been daunting for both of us but he was signed off by his GP as being cleared earlier this year and has also been on medication while seeing his GP. I'm just hoping the letter from his GP will be sufficient. Maybe you can try to obtain one before you go? I'm not sure how easy that would be, but it's worth a shot. I know based off of his past issues it has me pretty worried but I think we both should stay positive. I think you will get a psych evaluation as you stated for sure, but as long as you can prove that you are mentally sound and no issues, I really don't think you have anything to worry about. Personally, I think you will be just fine. But I am very curious to know how everything goes! I'm wishing you all the luck in the world! I seen a few threads with people where the beneficiary got something like 3 DUI's and they still managed to get approval. I've seen quite a bit of shocking threads where I didn't think they would be approved, but found out by their timelines they got it. :D Like you said, as long as you are honest. If your scars are long ago, that also works in your favor. His is early 2016, roughly May or June. Approximately a year ago. I used to worry about a denial in the beginning, but at this point the fear has already consumed me that it can't possibly effect me much more. I just take it one step at a time without the extra stress.

I too cannot WAIT to have this done and have him here in America. This is sooooo stressful.

Not so good news for my bride to be at her medical

looks like she is scheduled for the sputum tests at St Luke's

Hoping for the best. Trying to stay positive, for my once in a lifetime I can wait however long at takes

good luck to everyone in your Journey

Hi, this might sound like a dumb question but I can't find any information on it. Is the sputum test something only done within the Philippines? I've been searching it on VisaJourney for more information on it and everything on it is coming up for the Philippines. I'm just curious. :) I can't seem to find any other countries doing it. Maybe I'm not searching well enough. Also, is it done because of something they came across during the medical? I see it delays the process.  And good luck to your fiancee! I'm sure everything will be fine. Hang in there.

Yeah it is mostly done in the Philippines from what I have been seeing. It is done if they see something abnormal in the chest xray, from my understanding.
