dbmathis here.

Today was root canal day for me. I had a run in with a crappy dentist three weeks ago, who sent me to the ER after drilling into my sinus and pouring bleach into it. Today I had a specialist go in and fix all that damage, so I was extremely nervous and scared about today. However, I woke up and checked the informed delivery and there it was. The golden Wonka wrapper, the USCIS letter.

I didn't tell my fiancee because 1) until I opened that letter it could have been and RFE and 2) I wanted to record a video of me opening the letter so that she and I could get the good news at the same time.

I sat through the 1.5-hour root canal cleanup job, staggered out of there and headed toward home toward that mailbox. About 5 minutes from the house I started recording a video and talking like nothing was up. Then as I pulled into home, I changed my tone to be much more excited and told her that I hope to have a surprise for her. I walked to the mailbox, pulled out the letter so that the camera could see it, walked to the car and got in, took a deep breath and NOA2!!!! :D:D

Received: Jan 31

NOA1: Feb 2

NOA2: June 7

Please hang in there everyone who is still waiting. I know how hard it is, but the good news is on the way. I have said it before, and I will say it again, you all are the strongest and greatest people I know.

That was one hell of a wait. Congratulations!!

Still waiting for NOA2 :(

They received by RFE reply on May 22nd. Does anyone have a similar date?? How long will it normally take to respond to an RFE

Unfortunately, it varies. I know this is not any reassurance by itself, but it does seem that 98% of people get approved at the USCIS stage, based on the numbers we could see before the online checker broke.

Hi, I will answer base on my experience for those question in i-134 form:

1) A number will be notice in NOA2 letter and if you don't have it that's fine to leave it blank.

2) Question 10a to 13 don't have to fill out if she sponsor only you.

3) I marked intend and explain on page 8, fill out your full name and started from 3a. I will send you a message when I be home after work for what I wrote on it.

Thank you very much!!! really appreciate that!!

@JloveN I really hope that you and some of the others that have been patiently waiting for way too long get NOA2 soon. I can't imagine what in the world is causing these huge delays for some but know that you have a person cheering for your approval. Hang in there.

Thanks for your support @TriloByte. We're happy you finally receive Noa2 after the long time waiting.

It's been 147 days of waiting today (receive date : January 17th) and we haven't received anything yet :(. We did our best, we called USCIS twice, talked to Tier 2 last on June 2nd, sent inquiry to Congresswoman and got their response but nothing from USCIS comes yet.

Hopefully we will get the letter soon this week.

Where did u find the exact date that it was created? On the ceac website

I apologize my late reply to your post. Yes. I checked it on the CEAC website. We actually received a letter from NVC a day after I received the packet from the local embassy. The letter did not have the exact date that it was created. Hope it helps you :-)
