There is no correct answer here. I'm waiting for more than 20 days and still have no case from NVC, also have seeing people going for more than 33 days. Hard to say.....

Hi everyone!

 

Just a quick update, I am super excited to say that I can breathe better knowing I have officially booked my medical in Toronto for June 26th and my interview is scheduled for July 19th in Montreal. I'm a little nervous, hoping I have everything I need for both medical and interview. My fiancé just spent the weekend here and will be back in a month to take me to my interview 😊😊 hoping everyone is having some good luck with their process! I'll be doing a review of both the medical and interview once they're finished. Good luck everyone 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤗🙌🏼

Haha. NOBODY understands the joy of getting a letter in the mail like us unless they've been through this process of complete nonsense.

NOA2 May 22nd and NVC still hasn't received our case even though others with same NOA2 date got their case number  how is that possible that they received petitions with the same approval date but ours is still not there ?!

@Hannah96 I understand your frustration. Received NOA2 on May 5 and started calling NVC on the following week and since then they were saying that didnt received my case. Last week I spent 1 hour on the phone until they give me a different answer....the agent talked to the supervisor and they finally said they did received my case on May 24. It took them a really long time to AT LEAST tell me that they've received, until them they were saying that still didnt have it. I would encourage you to call them again. it is less likely that USCSI would take more than 3 weeks to send your case to NVC or even that post office would take that long.....

Today was root canal day for me. I had a run in with a crappy dentist three weeks ago, who sent me to the ER after drilling into my sinus and pouring bleach into it. Today I had a specialist go in and fix all that damage, so I was extremely nervous and scared about today. However, I woke up and checked the informed delivery and there it was. The golden Wonka wrapper, the USCIS letter.

 

I didn't tell my fiancee because 1) until I opened that letter it could have been and RFE and 2) I wanted to record a video of me opening the letter so that she and I could get the good news at the same time.

 

I sat through the 1.5-hour root canal cleanup job, staggered out of there and headed toward home toward that mailbox. About 5 minutes from the house I started recording a video and talking like nothing was up. Then as I pulled into home, I changed my tone to be much more excited and told her that I hope to have a surprise for her. I walked to the mailbox, pulled out the letter so that the camera could see it, walked to the car and got in, took a deep breath and NOA2!!!!  

 

Received: Jan 31 

NOA1: Feb 2

NOA2: June 7

 

Please hang in there everyone who is still waiting. I know how hard it is, but the good news is on the way. I have said it before, and I will say it again, you all are the strongest and greatest people I know.

OMG Congrats, you have been so patient through this. Trust me the process goes much faster now and many nights spending and confirming documentation

OMG My beautiful bride to be and her daughter are at St Luke's Medical Center as I type this

She got there around 4:15 am and said long lines, She is number 40. I know doors still not open so she is still waiting

Hoping and praying all goes well as her interview is scheduled for June 27

One step closer my friends

Just received our NOA 2 after 144 days. Jan. 20th was our file date. Praise God it finally came. Website still says received so keep hope for all those still waiting. Praying things go smoothly with NVC.

Her answer is because I have a lot of friends in US and it easier for them to join our wedding
