All they ask my fiancé is about our relationship as such why do we get marry in US not Japan, what's my full name, when was the first time we meet each other, how many times we see each other in person...they also ask about her tattoo because she tat my first name :))

I am curious about your answer to the why you get married in the US not Japan. We are getting married in the US because it is where we plan to live given my fiancé situation...Given that it is easier to get married in the US for immigration purposes to the US  than in Canada...

dbmathis here.

Today was root canal day for me. I had a run in with a crappy dentist three weeks ago, who sent me to the ER after drilling into my sinus and pouring bleach into it. Today I had a specialist go in and fix all that damage, so I was extremely nervous and scared about today. However, I woke up and checked the informed delivery and there it was. The golden Wonka wrapper, the USCIS letter.

I didn't tell my fiancee because 1) until I opened that letter it could have been and RFE and 2) I wanted to record a video of me opening the letter so that she and I could get the good news at the same time.

I sat through the 1.5-hour root canal cleanup job, staggered out of there and headed toward home toward that mailbox. About 5 minutes from the house I started recording a video and talking like nothing was up. Then as I pulled into home, I changed my tone to be much more excited and told her that I hope to have a surprise for her. I walked to the mailbox, pulled out the letter so that the camera could see it, walked to the car and got in, took a deep breath and NOA2!!!! :D:D

Received: Jan 31

NOA1: Feb 2

NOA2: June 7

Please hang in there everyone who is still waiting. I know how hard it is, but the good news is on the way. I have said it before, and I will say it again, you all are the strongest and greatest people I know.

YAY!!!!  Congrats my friend.  Yeah the waiting sucks really bad.  But the receiving of the letter....awwww, sweet MUSIC.  Lets Party!!!!

Congrats! I wish you a speedy NVC process... At this rate, everyone that got their approval after me will still have set their interview before me...33days, not received by NVC yet...I am really getting frustrated again. I know it is nowhere as long as the NOA2 date, but it is not supposed to be neither!

Again, the consular officer's decision is based on your documents being provided correctly and whether your answers match up with the information provided on your already-approved petition. The vast majority of visas are approved, and those that aren't are a result of lying, poor planning, or a failure to provide the necessary information and documents. Take a look through the Packet 3 checklist while you wait for your case number if you haven't already: https://de.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/21/2016/05/Instructions-for-IV-and-K-Visa-Applicants.pdf

Alright, thank you so much. You seem so sure about everything.
