They interviewed you for 30 minutes?

The all process (security, take new pictures, wait in line, go to a first desk to give them all my info, take my fingerprints, second waiting line and finally interview). The interview itself only took around 5 minutes for me lol.

I just wanted to let you know that I received the packet from the local US embassy today. I did not receive any letters from the NVC. The packet has the case number, so I'm ready to schedule the medical exam etc... My NOA2 date is May 10th. You might receive the packet without letters from NVC. I encourage everyone to check the mail box if you're waiting for the packet from the embassy. Hope it helps you!

Your processing time looks very fast, I am French too and I sent my case in the same period but I am still waiting the NVC... :(

Is the medical appointment painful in Paris ? (lol worried about the tests)

It didnt feel fast at all for me lol. I waited 3.5 months for NOA2, and a little over 3 weeks for the NVC. I got very lucky because the embassy had appointments available way sooner than I expected (I only had to wait 10 days for it). All together it took 5 months, and I haven't received my visa yet!

It's not painful at all, they're just gonna get a little blood for analysis, make you pee in a cup and do a chest X-ray. Then you go see the doctor and they just examine you and ask you a few questions. Honestly nothing to be scared about.

The letter in the packet is from the Tokyo US embassy, so the letter date is June 6th. I don't think it's the assigned date. It's just the letter date. Since we didn't get a letter from NVC, I'm not sure exactly when my case number was assigned. Is it a problem if I don't have the letter from NVC?

Not at all! I am just curious as we have the same NOA2 date, and as of last night, I still didn't have a case number assigned. Actually they still hadn't received my stuff. From the assignment date, I am assuming it take 4-5 days for it to reach the embassy. And I have read that from the embassy it can take 2-3 weeks (in Montreal), to receive packet 3. So yeah, just getting upset at the fact that once again we are behind and trying to understand why our petition is taking longer to reach NVC than others ;) .

Hello all, I called the Nvc today and received my case and invoice numbers. When I asked what the next step was all the associate had to say was "pay the fees" this was very vague and then she hung up on me. I'm very confused as to what the next step is. The case is yet to be sent to the embassy. What fees and what paperwork remains?

What is your NOA2 date? Um .. i guess you have to wait for package 3 with the instructions. Maybe you can start filing out the DS-160?
