Well idk if they would accept it but I see people but an actual statement.. my fiancé and I said we plan on getting married when he comes and we spoke about the time I came there the dates and where we went etc and how we met it was an essay but I didn't put a separate statement

Well, I see...just give you a head up that you can start that one right now just prepare if something go down. My co-worker got RFE for that statement just because he did not say when they intent to marry.

So he would have to write one and scan it to me?

Tomorrow morning I'm off to the US to see my fiance for 2 weeks! Yeeey!

I'm also in total need of a holiday, so I'm looking forward to sleeping in and NOT checking my work email once while I'm there! :)

Happy for you @Miina. Hope you enjoy your holiday with your fiance :).

Me and my fiance also will meet up again on the next two weeks for a week of holiday.

USCIS has started to touch 14th December filers.

So, we hope to get Noa2 when we spend the time together at the end of this March or early April :dancing:

Best of luck for everyone here :)

January filer here.  NOA1 on Jan 24.  Now just impatiently waiting.  And it's gonna be a long wait.

I think we have about a month or a month and a half of waiting left. It does seem like it is a long time, but we are almost there! I know it is hard to stay positive. I know I struggle a lot with keeping upbeat when all I want to do is cry because I am not with my better half. I pray that the wait won't be much longer. Good luck. My NOA1 was Jan 23.

My patience is wearing thin... going on 10 weeks since application was received, and looks like it will be at the very least 2 more weeks before I hear anything. All we can do is hope the folks at USCIS work their tails off and go easy on the RFEs. Good luck!

Keep the faith.  And I am not sure where you are checking your dates, but they seem more up to date that the ones shown on USCIS.  That shows they are working on Oct. 2016 - which seems odd because we filed in Nov and were processed a few weeks ago.
One suggestion is to call to check on the status, or use the link direct on the USCIS to do a case inquiry.  I called a couple times. They were able to give me an idea of what dates they were processing, and it also allowed me to be reassured that our file wasn't sitting lost somewhere.  If you haven't signed up yet at the site, it's a good thing to do because you get the text notification immediately, and don't have to wait for the mail.  We got our NOA2 at 10pm!

Good Luck!

Stay strong ... my fiancé and I had an emotional weekend as well. Even to know that we will see each other in less then 5 weeks couldn't help, because we know it's just vacation and not the final trip. But looking at the scans from Geo in November filers and doing them now by myself for december filers is helping me a lot. There you can get a feeling how the processing goes ... I think it will be even 2-3 weeks for me with received date dec 22 before NOA2. I know its not easy but we all go thru the same ... we have to for being together with our loved ones and it's totally worth it in the end. Its like preparing for being married ... remember for the "in good and in bad times" :)

Hello team!
We are gathering all the next papers, just to be ready. And we have a big question regarding the i-134 affidavit of support. We both are living in Spain, so the income of my boyfriend (the US citizen) will not count. I have a bank account that my family put together for me in case of emergency, with a lot of fonds, only my dad and I have access to the account. The account is in a Spanish bank. Could we present that as our, or his, assets?

Thanks a lot!!!!

No, he will need co-sponsor who is paying taxes and is making over 100% poverty guidelines. The point of all finantial paperwork is to make sure that "in case of emergency" someone can take care of you in USA. What he is doing abroad is not really in their interest, unfortunetely.

And about assets, it could be possible if you would transfer those money to his bank account, it got to be on his name. But remember, that if you are using assets you need to collect I guess 3 or 5 x more than poverty guidelines, it depend if it is about sponsor or co-sponsor. And sometimes it can look strange for them if you put that big amount of money to somebodys bank account, it looks suspisious especially that it came there right before K1 process and money came from beneficiary family.
