:( any January filers still waiting for NOA2

Ours took just over 3 months (California service centre). You can try filling in a service request? (https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do

Which service centre is your petition at? I've read a few people saying they don't have their NOA2s yet so I don't think you're alone! Hang in there!

Yes this is too much!!! :(

NOA1 January 17th

We are on 127 days now.

We emailed the Senator last week but we haven't get any response yet. We called CSC talked to Tier 2 officer, and he said our case still not been assigned to any officer yet :(

They said average processing dates are dec-15 now. But that's just average

No, Dec 15th is not average, they are either lying, were told to say that or are ignorant. Dec 15, from what I have gathered, is the oldest case still in received (or close enough to it). Most all of Jan. and much of Feb are touched now.  They are about to move into March. The truth seems to be that you are one of the unlucky ones that ended up in the box/stack of cases of the slow/unorganized/on holiday agent. I am so sorry that you are still waiting. These USCIS people need to learn how to process things in order and to have some empathy for those going through it.

And another thing. Why is all of this so hush-hush in the first place? Why the lack of transparency? Of all of the processes that I can think of, that a person could go through, where proper updates are vital to mental health, this is it, and here they are hiding everything from us like a bunch of children. There's absolutely no reason why they can't provide updates and real information when we call. My guess as to why they don't is because they don't want to air their dirty laundry.

Well said @TriloByte.  You are very intelligent on analyzing things. I'm speechless, i can't say what's really going on there. Everyday me and my fiance are waiting. We took all of other suggestion from other VJ member here but still we don't get any news yet. I think i will cry loudly once i receive the new info from USCIS because it's been very stressful since the last few weeks.

My case took a weird turn last thursday it had left CSC and got transferred to Nebraska. The mail came in yesterday and just said that they have finished the preliminary review of my application and as part of standard processing, we transferred your case... I have heard of people saying in the past it is because a Service Center is backed up and means they're doing it to get to my case faster, but it seems mine is the only one that has been transferred so i am nervous.

I don't blame you for being nervous. I would be too. I wonder what "preliminary review" means exactly. A new term that needs further investigation. Thanks for the update and hope you get approved soon.
