Did your fiance call the service center and ask directly what is going on with the case? Or did your fiance ask to be transferred to a tier 2 officer and then ask? I heard that they can see beyond the online tracking system. Does anyone know if that is a fact or not? Congrats on getting approved!

Thanks! My fiance called their customer service but he didn't ask to be transferred to a tier 2 officer. But yeah, some people say tier 2 officers have a better way of checking the case status. :D

My status says still in transit, does it have to say ready before I schedule my fiancée interview?

Yes, it does. And I think you have to have packet 3 at the time of your interview, too. This may be a country-specific requirement so I'm not entirely sure.

Just want to let everyone know, especially those who got an RFE and are still waiting, that my fiance just got our NOA2 in the mail today! We are over the moon!!!

We waited so damn long (120+ days) but we finally got our approval! This was so unexpected because it's already Saturday in the US and I have lost hope that we would get news this week, but once again, life surprised us. :D

To those still waiting, keep extending your patience and one of these days, your NOA2 letter will surprise you, too.

Those who got RFE'd, if it has been 2 weeks since USCIS received your response then there's a good chance you'll get your approval soon. Hang in there!

This weekend just became amazing. :D

Note: I don't know our official NOA2 date yet as I'm still waiting for my fiance's response. I just saw that I got a message from him saying he got the letter. Will update my timeline and signature once he replies.

Yaaaayyyy Congratulations!!! This is great news! We're happy for you!

Omg we called the same day I think!! And they said no but my fiancé just said that he thinks the guy only checked the online tracker like you said .. our response was received may 12th .. I hope to hear from them next week latest. The thing is that I'm scared we won't get NOA2 letter because some people here said they didn't got one and I'm just freaking out.

Again, congrats! This just gave me hope. All the best :)

Hi Everyone! Congratulations to everyone who is approved! For those who received their NOA2 letters in the mail while the online tracker still say "received" or your "REF is received", do your online trackers eventually change to "approved" after you received your NOA2 letter?

I think someone here said their app actually said they're approved, but most of us only found out when we received the NOA2 in the mail. I don't think others still check the tracker after they get the NOA2 because they start calling NVC and once they get their case number, they use a different tracker. We were approved May 22 so it's been a week, and the tracker still says response received. I'll check again next weekend and I'll let you know if it changes.

Thank you and good luck!

You're welcome! I see you're a December filer but your timeline doesn't have a NOA2 date yet. Have you received it and your timeline just isn't updated? Did you get an RFE? If you got an RFE and you're still waiting for NOA2, I suggest you call them and ask for a tier 2 customer service rep to help you check your case. Good luck to you too!

Yeah I got an RFE and am still waiting for NOA2. I was planning to update the timeline as soon as I got NOA2 because everyday I thought I would get it "tomorrow", yet it just does not arrive...

Now I have updated my timeline, maybe the mailman will deliver good news on Monday :) Thanks for your suggestion: will make a call on Monday :)

Maybe it would be best to ask for a tier 2 officer because when my fiance called on Wednesday, he was told we haven't gotten approved yet but he got the letter today and it said NOA2 on May 22, which was Monday. People here say tier 2 CSRs have like a better way of checking your case status. :D Hope you get your approval next week!
