That's interesting we scheduled our appointment on Wednesday and the earliest date we could get was July 17th? What link did you use to check available dates?

Same link to schedule interview online for MNL: https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/ApplicantHome

From the menu, go to Reschedule Appointment. You should see the calendar for availability.

See, you can always check and see if there are openings. Most people who encounter further delays like medical or other things are required to reschedule their initial interview appointments. Now you can reschedule only once without paying the fee again. It currently shows there's an opening on June 6, 9, then the 3rd week of June.

Hi thanks. When we opened the link to schedule her interview the earliest date available was July 17th. Any event we are going to hold with this date since she needs to have her medical along with her son and that has to be done at least 7 days is advance.

Appreciate the information and good luck with the rest of you visa application.

Just want to let everyone know, especially those who got an RFE and are still waiting, that my fiance just got our NOA2 in the mail today! We are over the moon!!!

129 days from our NOA1 date and 19 days from the date USCIS received our RFE response. We waited so damn long but we finally got our approval! This was so unexpected because it's already Saturday in the US and I have lost hope that we would get news this week, but once again, life surprised us. :D

To those still waiting, keep extending your patience and one of these days, your NOA2 letter will surprise you, too.

Those who got RFE'd, if it has been 2 weeks since USCIS received your response then there's a good chance you'll get your approval soon. Hang in there!

This weekend just became amazing. :D

Note: I don't know our official NOA2 date yet as I'm still waiting for my fiance's response. I just saw that I got a message from him saying he got the letter. Will update my timeline and signature once he replies.

That is AWESOME news!!! You have waited so long and really deserved it, especially after they lost your photos. Congrats!!!!

Thank you! Yes we called them on May 24 and they said he haven't gotten approved yet, but my fiance just told me our approval date is May 22. So when we called, we were already approved. I think the customer service person only checked our case via the online tracker, which is broken. -_-

When was your response received? Maybe you've already been approved, too. Hopefully your NOA2 letter arrives in the mail next week if not this weekend. Let me know and good luck! :D

According to my fiance, the letter says we got approved on May 22. (123 days from NOA1/13 days from the date USCIS received our RFE response). What's annoying is that my fiance called them on Wednesday, May 24, to ask about the status of our case and he was told that we haven't gotten approved yet.

Does this mean that the customer service people are also just looking at the online tracker? Because our status hasn't changed there.

So yeah, to those who are waiting for an approval after getting an RFE, if your response was received around the same time as ours and if you called them this week and were told that you haven't gotten approved yet, maybe you actually have been approved and your NOA2 letter is on its way to you. Both the tracker and customer service are unreliable right now.

Good luck!

Omg we called the same day I think!! And they said no but my fiancé just said that he thinks the guy only checked the online tracker like you said .. our response was received may 12th .. I hope to hear from them next week latest. The thing is that I'm scared we won't get NOA2 letter because some people here said they didn't got one and I'm just freaking out.

Again, congrats! This just gave me hope. All the best :)

Yeah their online tracker and customer service are pretty unreliable right now, but I have a feeling you will get yours in the mail next week! Please let me know when you do and I will celebrate with you! Us RFE'd January filers need to stick together. Haha! I wish you the best of luck!

Yes, customer service just looks at the online checker like a bunch dumb monkeys even though countless people have reported it broken. I think that the second level does have a way to look beyond the checker, but that's based on what the second level told me, and they are not known for being trustworthy, so who knows.

Did your fiance call the service center and ask directly what is going on with the case? Or did your fiance ask to be transferred to a tier 2 officer and then ask? I heard that they can see beyond the online tracking system. Does anyone know if that is a fact or not? Congrats on getting approved!
