Hey guys, finally got out NOA2 (NOA1: Jan 24th) in the mail yesterday! Its been long wait and I know its so frustrating so I'm sending positive thoughts for all those still waiting! It will be okay and you'll get it soon :) , this forum has been super helpful!

 

I know this has been asked multiple times here but can someone pretty please tell me super shortly what are the next steps? Can I just wait until the embassy sends me the packet with documents needed or I schould to call NVC+embassy?

Just a heads up  to everyone waiting for movement at NVC.  They will send the package to the embassy days before ever updating the CEAC website.  It may still say "AT NVC" but may very well be at the embassy already.  So don't get discouraged if it still says "AT NVC".  My observations are it will change to "IN TRANSIT" when the Embassy actually receives the package, and then will change to "READY" a day or two later when the embassy processes the package.

Hi everyone...

I called the NVC last week and they gave me my case number. The first 3 letters are FRN---------- and I live in France. My case should have been sent to the U.S embassy in France. 

But my fiance just received an email from the Frankfurt consulate saying that they have our case.....

It seems like the NVC sent our case to the wrong embassy... I never lived in Germany so I don't know why..

Some of you know what I can do..? I am so desperate..

Omg... that sucks. NVC really screwed up this time. They assigned my case at wrong Embassy too. You can check out my post, it happen to Geo and he fixed it :)
