It was my understanding you only had to ask for one of them while calling, but I guess it depends on how lucky you are with the person answering your call. Sorry to hear you are having trouble with that and your approval is taking that long. Best of lucks!

When I called yesterday and they gave me our case # the woman also told me that they were just entering our case and it would be a few days before we could move forward. I checked our case on the NVC website and our case is registered.

I wouldn't worry about it I think this is standard language they use.

Good luck!!!

I just called to get our case number as well. I was told we are going through routine AP. I asked if that is something every case goes through and was told that yes it is standard and should not take more than a few days in most cases. I think that is just what they call the work they do there. I would not worry.

Thanks, your post has made me feel a little better. I hope our cases both move forward soon!

Yep, I called them yesterday, at 14 days, and they told me to call back after the 6th of June, one month after NOA2.

Today I called them again and they had received the case yesterday, so do not listen to their canned answers because they are absolutely useless.
