This might be me overthinking, but while filling out the DS-160, there is a question that reads basically "Has a US citizen ever petitioned for your before".  Well, I'm petitioning for her now, so do I mark that a Yes.  Or is it asking before this petitioning, in which case it would be a no?

Any insights?

-.-

It's asking for any previous petition before the K1, so yeah, it would be a No if there weren't any.

Awesome, thank you! And congrats! Did you get that online, or in the mail? Curious to know if the tracker is working..

Sorry for the late reply. I haven't gotten the actual letter yet. It was just text msg and email notification. Online system was also updated =)

Another question pertaining to DS-160.

I filled it all out but I'm going to have my fiance log in to do the final sign and submit, just as it says on the sign page.

But my fiance has no printer.  Is it possible that after she submits I can log in to get the confirmation page and print it out?  Or does it get emailed to her?

Thank you!

At the end once she's finished her signature, there is the option to print as well as [or] send the confirmation to an email of choice. I printed a confirmation and had one sent to my email just in case.

glad to see Jan filers' status updates!! :)

I called NVC this afternoon and got my case number (I got my NOA2 on 4/24 but been too busy to call)...I then checked the status and it showed In Transit...

I came home from work and it now shows READY!!! So my fiancée will be getting mail anytime soon right?

thank you @dbmathis ... I just wanted to share cause I have seen you posting and doing scans, which we are all thankful for, and I just thought if it happened to me then maybe it could happen to someone out there as well.  Again, I didn't receive the NOA2 letter yet, if I didn't call I would still be waiting for NOA2 to arrive to my house.  It was a long shot, but I took a chance.  Now while I continue to wait on NOA2, I will just do what I can now with the info I have.  Wish you the best and hope you get the NOA2 soon!

Oh, I know. I'm just sharing mine so people know that it's basically hit or miss with those agents. If at first, you don't succeed, try again type of deal :). I've been a bit beaten down by the process over the past few days, a couple of fights between my fiancee and me, watching kids, working, waiting on the letter, so I hope I didn't come across irritated with you or anything. Just have been through too much lately. This wait needs to end soon.

Anyone with an approval date of May 10th got their NVC case number? people around that date?

Our NOA2 is 05/05 but we only found out because we received the letter in the mail on 05/12. We got case number on 05/18. From NOA2 date roughly it's 2 weeks to get to NVC with the case number. You should have it in a couple of days..

Ours is 05/05, and I called NVC yesterday, they haven't received ours yet.

When you called the NVC you just gave them your noa1 receipt number ? I'm going to try today, what info would I need to give them?

Just called the NVC and no case number for us yet (NOA2 5/5/17). The lady on the phone was really nice though and told me to keep calling everyday, unlike the other person I talked to last week who told me to call back in 6 weeks...
