Yes.  Embassy will send out Packet 3 when it processes and marks your case as Ready.  So when you receive packet 3 you can schedule interview.

Thank you! And one last question, how long does it take from the moment embassy receives your case to package 3? Trying to figure out if it's realistic to come home to my fiancé in August.

Not yet. In the medical, they need your appointment letter. So we really need to get a schedule first. :) and i think the medical expires within 30 days. Im not so sure about that, but best to do medical within the month before interview.

I see.. I thought the appointment letter is the letter stating that we can now sched the interview. like the e-mail or letter from USEM. I printed out online registration form in st. lukes website because some said its easy to have a registration. Wish there will be other pinays and those waiting to get approval soon and be with their love.

Thank you! I just checked the German  visa journey profiles from the most recent interview approval reviews and it takes about 3 days to one week to get the package :)

Check also your Embassy info to know when you can schedule the interview, because that varies depending on the country. For example, mine doesn't allow you to schedule it until you send back packet 3 and they send you the corresponding authorization (packet 4).

So, I already mentioned that I'm super worried about getting the visa at the end since my student visa was denied etc. and you guys are just amazing how you help each other out and give positive vibes. I want to share with you that my future parents in law are coming up to Germany for 3 days just to meet my parents and besides all the visits from my fiancé this should definitely be proof enough that our relationship is more than real! I know its stupid but I just had to share this. I am 21 and just super nervous and like all of you tired of all this waiting. But I can't believe that I found the man I want to spend the rest of my life with.

I wish you guys a wonderful week and hope for good news for everyone!! The 'few' months we are waiting are nothing compared to the YEARS we will spend with our loved ones.

(Yes, still waiting for NOA2 after RFE response was received. And yes, I can be annoying with all my questions sometimes .. sorry for that)

Hi everyone :)

just wanted to share I finally got my case number from the NVC after almost 4 weeks ! (NOA2 27th of April).

They only gave the case number to my fiance, no invoice or BIN, should I have him call back to get those numbers ?

Thank you!
