I don't know how USEM in UK process the K1 visas. But I would suggest for you to wait until it reaches the embassy before scheduling a medical. With that your medical will have longer validity that would be very helpful for your AOS so you don't have to undergo another medical test. I read a few stories from those already on their AOS and some of them got RFE because the medical apparently already expired. ;-)

Some of the Clinics/ hospitals designated by USEM for medicals never really require the letter to proceed with it. You may wanna check it with them. We are praying for you and the rest of the Jan filers to receive your NAO2. You are so deserving after all this time waiting to receive approval or at least have your case touched knowing that someone is continuing to review you files.

God we can so relate to how painful it was waiting each day to receive notification and now knowing USCIS is no longer updating the scripts or their website can only add to your frustration.

 

Just know good news is coming your way very soon and we are all cheering you on to receive notification next week.

Agree. We received our hard copy NOA2 on May 11th, approval date of 5/05 and our online status still shows as "Received". Despite several people calling USCIS advising they have a reporting problem with the website not being updated there is no priority to fix the problem.

 

I called 3 times early last week, my call was finally escalated to an USCIS officer, had to wait 2 hours for them to return my call and was told by the officer that she was going to send an alert to their IT reporting section for action.

 

That was over a week ago and their website is still not fixed. Either their ignoring our calls or their having problems trying to fix the problem. As you know this has been going on since the end of last month.

 

God how sad and frustrating this must be on all Jan filers still waiting to receive their case updates.  You are all in our prayers to receive notice on your case next week.

So my stupid question of the week....I see so many RFE for passport photos...seems like they lose them 

I was instructed to put in a plastic bag and label with our names as well as label the back of the photos with our names

Is it possible some did not write their names on the photos and they got lost that way?

Just wondering as it seems so many people sent theirs in yet they get RFE

Hi. Yes but she always say "I was told that unfortunately with the USCIS backlog the California Service Center is still currently working on fiancée visa petitions that were receipted on November 15, 2016. Timing has not moved in two weeks."  And I always emailed her every 2 weeks. This process is too much!😢  We are waiting for our NOA2 for almost 130days 😭😭😭😭

I did put our passport photos in a ziplock bag, stapled them to a blank paper and paper-clipped them to g325a. I seriously hope they don't lose it

I initially thought we were January filers since I mailed the petition on January 27. But then the NOA1 received date was February 1, so I switched to the February filers thread. I know there is some overlap between the January and February scans, so I decided to post this here as well as in the February thread.

 

I received NOA2 today, finally.

 

The case tracker is still not working; it just says received. No e-mail notice either, even though I filed form G-1145. Our received date was Feb 1, and the NOA2 was dated May 16.

 

To everyone else still waiting, hang in there!

You mean it takes about a week from Received RFE to approval?

Yes it took a week for them to make a decision but I didn't get it till the tenth . And it still haven't been updated online.
