Hi. I renewed my passport recently as mine was due to expire may 2018. And i know the visa gets stamped in the passport and may have to use passport numbers so I thought it would be best to renew it. Also, I'm from the UK and I know you just have at least 6 months on it to be able to leave the UK and enter the USA. Which would have to leave the UK no later than November on it. So it thought I'd just renew it to be on the safe side

Hehehe totally agreed with you. Some are just luckier than others. Gotta focus on self and dont feel discouraged. Im still learning hehe.

hi everyone!

 

I have submitted my ds-160 and just putting all the documents together for the interview. I have not yet scheduled my medical or interview, however I still need to get the visa application paid for. So, i was wondering if anyone could help me out with finding where i go to pay the $265.00 required for the visa application.

You pay the fee after the DS-160.  You need the confirmation # from the DS-160 I believe to pay.  Then what I would do is just straight up call the embassy and have them send you to the automated pay by phone service.  Or talk to someone who can take the payment.  The website I've seen people get confused with.

Thank you so much. However I believe when i call the u.s embassy in Montreal they don't take phone calls anymore :(
