Same response we got the first time we called which was yesterday. I did try today and the lady was very accommodating in giving me the information. She said they just received our papers this morning. ;-)

Haha! I was thinking the same thing. They must have spoken to one of the I-129F ninjas. Or some sort of ninja.

So my fiancé told me today that our congress inquiry went through. In our case, we got told by them two days ago that we were indeed approved and should be receiving a letter soon. We told them we already had received it. Seems like there is actually a way to give a proper answer to the congress people, because online we are still showing as received...

Lol with all our bad luck with the process I don't think so. I am also not the only one who received an answer from them! Maybe as NVC is backlogged they don't want to cause people to call within 2 weeks so they give themselves some kind of delays :P . This is all just so weird

I'm not gonna complaining about no news at NVC here since lots of Jan filers haven't received NOA 2 yet.. but its really sucks for keeping hearing the same thing "its not in the system and would take up to 6 weeks"

Maybe not gonna call NVC in awhile.

Yes please! We got hard copy on May 5th but sent it back on Monday the 8th. Received May 12th. He came to visit me and we were in Paris too, he left yesterday after 1,5 weeks and I'm just so so sad. I'm so ready for the waiting to be over.

Approval may take 5 business days to... months... Depends on your luck, really. I've seen some who got approved after a week, and some who got their NOA2 6 months later. Let's hope we get our approval before June. :D

That is possible, but in my case we were approved on the 10th and heard from the congressman on the 15th.  The email from them said they checked "this morning".  It could be that they did not do as they said. But I prefer to think they would not make up a story.

do we still need to submit the whole i129f or just the RFE they needed

@Dysphobiah is correct. Just send what they asked for along with the RFE letter, of course. We included a cover letter as well, stating that we sent passport photos along with our petition but they seem to have gotten lost in the mail, and that we are happy to resend them our photos. We just wanted to clarify that we didn't miss that part. Our photos just got lost somehow. Pretty sure they are the ones who lost it because I'm not the only one who got the passport photo RFE and our photos were in a bag attached to the back of the forms.

So yeah, we sent back the RFE letter, wrote a cover letter, and of course, included the stuff they asked from us (passport photos). We used the same envelope they used to send us the letter.

The biggest thing that I've learned throughout this process, is that none of these organisations work in a logical or sensical way. I literally have no idea how they operate at CSC or NVC, as there just seems to be no order to either part whatsoever.

I wish I could say that I've also learned to have some patience, but that would be a lie ;-)
