Going to be attempting to follow in Geo's footsteps for us Jan filers and do scans a few times a week once I have all of the Jan I-129fs sorted, and then once they start making progress on Jan cases I will try to do nightly scans.

This is what I have so far: (excuse the non Jan dates in there)

Don't give up! There are actually a lot _less_ January filers than Nov&Dec filers :D

No one ever claimed K-1 would be an easy and smooth process, but we will all get there! You might well be able to celebrate 4th July with your loved one in New York!

And THANK YOU @sbane12 for taking over the data crunching for January filers. This is easily the best thing to calm our nerves and keep us seeing the process!

I agree, don't give up. Just search by your NOA1 date and it should be easy to find the case. I can make a separate sheet that has the cases in order by WAC number but then the dates would all be scrambled (I have no clue why USCIS hands out case numbers like that). You are welcome everyone, I might not be able to make it look as neat as Geo but I will try. Once the scans see changes on case statuses I will add the changes (or lack there of) to new columns for comparison.

As someone with a Jan 24 receipt date, it seems my case is maybe around the 2/3rd mark of all Jan filers, my VJ estimated date for NOA2 is around April 26.  From the average I have seen it is like 2-3 weeks after NOA2, then it finally gets shipped to embassy, maybe 1-3 more weeks you set up interview. Depending on your embassy location (country) varies greatly on how soon you can probably get an interview. Could be 2 weeks to 1 month and 2 weeks. After interview maybe 7 days or less to get visa

Deepending on your file date and embassy procedure there might still be a chance :)

According to @glmg21 there are about 2300 Jan cases, which is much less than the around 4400 of November and 4000 of December.

Do everything you can to be ready to move swiftly once the NOA2 comes. Ive already started collecting police records from the 5 countries I need them from, and got my vaccination records and birth certificate ready. (I'm the beneficiary).

I'm also hoping to be in the US before the end of June, because we have a second wedding party in my home country in late August, and if I don't get an Advance Parole in time, I wont be able to make it to my own wedding party :D

According to my scans there is ~3000 Jan cases but that also includes the ones that were rejected already due to whatever reason

Ah I see! Yeah, a lot of rejections in January.... poor couples, I feel bad that they have to re-file! :(

Still, *waiving the positivity flag*, less cases than at the end of last year!! :D

I'm sure you can tell the embassy that you booked the flight and have reservations on that day some of the officers I've heard on here (depending on who&where) the expedite it. I'm getting nervous by coming here every night and seeing uscis pick on different cases rather than finishing one month one time. There is still a case that is untouched 10/31.. which is why I'm nervous.. I hope to God I don't get a slow poke handling my case!

I would expect that where cases like the one you mentioned (10/31) are still outlying, it's possible they're special cases. They wouldn't be left this long and ignored for December cases unless there was a problem or an intentional delay. We often forget about all the cases that aren't belonging to people on visa journey, so there's not always someone to explain the circumstances!

If I understood correctly from previous threads, the case workers get a box of applications and go through them in their own pace. Some are faster than others. Some require RFEs easier than others.
However, if there is a difficult case (previous K1 applications, matching name on one of the registeres, etc.) it is given to a supervisor who deals with the case. I think that explains why there are some lingering cases that haven't been RFEd or approved.

That's not right lol.. I wonder if they label them.. I would love to see how they actually work.. but isn't it a certain amount of cases they should be working on a day.. and if behind someone else comes down on them? Sorry but I'm losing hope
