My NOA2 was approved 4/28 and I called NVC this morning to see if they recieved my case.  They received my stuff yesterday and it should take up to two weeks for processing and receive our case number.

If they have already received your I-129F, then realistically the wait should be 2 days, not 2 weeks, for getting your case number assigned.  Call back in 2 days for your Case Number.

I started calling at Day 14, now I'm at Day 21 (NOA2 27th April) and they didn't have it 2 days ago ...

I have the same NOA2 approval date (4/28). And, first time I called yesterday, I was able to get: 

1. A "Case" number: KEV 2017 636 XXX 

2. An "Invoice" number: 413 232 XX  

Digitwise, do these numbers seem OK?

In the CEAC website,  https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx
I should select "non-immigrant" visa and embassy, and then enter:  a) KEV 2017 636 XXX,  b) 2017 636 XXX, or something else?

And, finally, how long do you think it would be before my case status will be registered and accessible via the above process?

For what I've heard you have to pick immigrant Visa.

You select Immigrant Visa.

 

Then enter the KEV number.

Does anyone know what the invoice number is used for?  I've seen people say to get that number when you call the NVC, but what is it actually for or used for?  I just realized I never asked for it when I called, so I'll have to call the NVC again.  But it would be nice to know what the number I'm asking for is actually used for?

USCIS received our RFE response on 5/12. We are expecting to wait about 2 weeks for the USCIS response, but I'm not sure if we should expect to wait longer either.

It means your petition is still at the NVC (National Visa Center) and has NOT arrived at the consulate of your fiance.  When it does, that window will be updated.

That website and window is a tracker for your visa process.  So currently you are at the "AT NVC" stage of the process.

Get my receipt notice the 25th January that was my birthday was wrong on it I called them they fix the date and send me another receipt notice for my birthday being fixed and how accurate is that list
