Yes, this sounds familiar. It's no wonder they don't know it's broken. What's the point of an online notification system if you get notified over a month after your approved. Thank you for trying, I really appreciate the effort.

Glad to help. I emphasized the point to the CSR with USCIS their communication system is broken and he basically told me in a nice way that he had no control over technical matters nor did he have a means to communicate the problem. Like talking to a robot with a canned answer for every question.

I just called again and spoke to a CSR who was kind enough to escalated my call to a USCIS officer however now I have to wait  80 minutes for a return call.

I need to step out but will report back my findings after I speak to the officer with USCIS.

Our RFE received date is 04/26. Is it realistic to expect that we could be part of those who got their NOA2 in the mail with NOA Date 05/05? I'm just really excited. I can hardly concentrate at work

I believe so, I also got an RFE on 4/25 sent in my response next day and my noa2 yesterday . If you responded promptly I'm sure urs was also one of the ones approved

They received mine back on the 26th, did you ever receive word on a USCIS tracker app, or their website, or just in the regular mail??  Thank you

Can anyone share instructions on what the next step is after NOA 2? What does a case number in hand do for me? Should I just sit back and do nothing or is there something else that needs to be done after NOA 2 was recieved?

Im sending my fiancé my I-134. Anything. Else ?

I'm also wondering what to do with the case #. Does this allow us to start the DS-160?

After NOA2, wait atleast two weeks and call the NVC for Case number AND invoice number.  (I'm at 2.5 weeks since NOA2 and NVC does not have my petition yet)

When you have that, you can track your status via the CEAC website tracker.

When the US Embassy in your fiance's country receives and processes your petition, they will mark it as "READY" status.

At the point, when it is READY, you can fill out and submit the DS-160.

After filling that out, print out confirmation page as you will need the # on it.

Call Embassy (or do it online) to pay the Visa application fee (Different from the I-129F petition fee).

After your pay you will be emailed a receipt, you now may schedule online (or call Embassy) the interview.

When interview is scheduled, it's time to frantically get the Lab Work, Medical, Biometrics, and paperwork all done before interview :)

EDIT:  Process may differ slightly dependent on specific embassy guidelines and rules.  This is just an overview and may be missing some specific things to your personal embassy.

Great to hear someone's RFE response was processed quickly. We got our RFE letter on May 4 and we sent our response the next day, too. They received it May 9 so I hope we get our approval the week after next. Congratulations! Did you receive your NOA2 via mail or did you see it on the tracker?

Hey guys! I've sent my RFE response on May 4 too, but still no news about it. My USCIS case status is frozen on the " RFE was mailed"...The RFE took 4 days to come from the california center to my fiancé's home ( in Florida ) ... So they should received the answer around the 9 or the 10 normally....  Should I start to be worried or is it possible that, as for the NO2 notification, they are not able to change my status ....? Thanks !! ( finally, I start to be worried right now! )
