Congratulations! We sent our RFE response last week so we're hoping to get an approval quickly. Hope it only takes 2 weeks as well. Did you receive the NOA2 by mail or did it appear on the online tracker?

I filed my I-129 Set on January 17th to the Texas office then they sent to the California service center and I get my notice of action on January 25th still waiting to receive second notice feel like it's taking forever hope to receive something soon actually I'm thinking maybe I should call and ask them

Just got off phone with Visa center.  They have not received my petition yet from the USCIS, it's only been 15 days though.  They told me to try back on Monday.

I've heard that if you send them gold, they sometimes speed up. Yes, sometimes, which means more than one has sent them gold and there was not a 100% success rate. Seriously though, good look, i hope it gets to the NVC quick.

Congratulations to those who finally received their NOA2! Very happy for you! Cheers to 2017 weddings!

 

To those of us still waiting (RFE response received on 05/09), let's hang in there. One of these days, Mr. Postman will bring us some good news! I told my fiance if he's home when he gets the NOA2 in the mail, he should give Mr. Postman a nice tip. Hehe.

 

Also, I read that there hasn't been any case status changes on the tracker recently, but my app has been showering me with notifications saying a similar case has been updated. Lots of RFEs. Seriously, what's up with that? It's like every 9 out of 10 January filers are getting RFEs.

It's multiple people scanning thousands of cases each day, which if the USCIS isn't use to it or isn't designed to take that many hits then it could possibly go haywire. It's just weird that the website is down and hasn't been updating correctly in the last 2 weeks, but yet people are getting their NOA2's through the mail... Just an assumption.

The scans have been happening for months.  I dont think it would suddenly "break" because of the scans.

 

There has been news about USCIS having to move back to an old system because of known bugs in the "new" system.  Not sure if that is the system they use for K1s.

Then he said only November is being processed right now. I said, nope, not true, I have a list of all of the receipts and can see that Nov, Dec, Jan, and Feb are being processed.  Then silence.

 

He said it's too late to pass me over to Tier 2 but call back tomorrow.

Hopefully we can set our plans to travel together to Manila to pick up our fiance's.
