Exactly 😅 Our case isn't complicated at all,my fiancé and I have never been married or have any kids whatsoever 😁 I do hate being so impatient 😳😳

Fingers crossed it's soon for us all. People said it was a waiting game, I didn't know the words 'waiting game' until now.

Oh stop complaining in the January filers forum about speeding things up. :P LOL

My fiancé and I have waited 118 days now.

Technically we filed in January but got our noa1 in Feb. 😉 and we are on to day 93 now. So catching up over here! Hopefully we will hear something soon.

so not sure if anyone will know the answer but when it comes to setting up the interview, will they work with you and give you a couple days to choose from or do they have one day you have to be there for?

thanks!

As someone has already said, this is Embassy specific. For mine (Spain), and until last year I think, they used to send you the date for interview in packet 4, but now what they do is sending you the link to a website where you can pick your date yourself at your convenience (upon availability, of course).

Try to see if you can find the information in your Embassy webpage.

This may be a good thing.... as it was said before; it's hard to believe that they are doing rfes and not doing approvals. so it's very likely that there is a delay somewhere in their process. - approval Upload portion of the system has error and they working on it? Only 10 approvals going through at a time? Could be anything lol  good luck in the morning at 1am guys! Going home, talk to babe, go to bed early and get up at 1am to check status and do some studies.

Another update everyone. I just got home from work and checked my mail box.

NOA2 Hard copy. I-797 in the mail.

Notice date: 5/05/2017

Considering the Congressmans office said it was mailed out Monday from the CSC.... holy Cow that is some fast mailing haha.
Something else I notice is above my Fiancee's name (Beneficiary) there is now an "A" number that looks almost like a SSN above her name after the "A". Any idea what this is?

EDIT: Apparently this is her Alien Number which will be used on all forms from now on.

Nope. Still says received.

The NOA2 hard copy also says that my stuff has been forwarded to the "listed consulate" but obviously it goes to NVC first but I am assuming that means it was already mailed to NVC... maybe it will be there by this week if I got the NOA2 that fast. This is more reason for me to believe I was approved for Expedite

I could certainly be wrong but when I was following others timelines especially the November and December cases it seems that noa2 hard copy usually came at least a full week after approval sometimes more and NVC receive was usually 14 to 20 days after approval which is when you start calling to get NVC case number and it only stays at NVC for a few days.

I think logically it is safe to assume that if you are approved for an expedite they wouldn't just send your stuff out like noa2 and NVC packet at normal speed. That would be silly otherwise why approve you for such haste in the first place

Expediting could simply be pulling your file from the lot... again it's debatable
