we met online plying games, we submitted a letter telling the story when and how we met and wat games we played, and when we started falling in love and talking about meeting (was about half a page),

then we added pictures of our game history and gifts we sent eachother on steam.

Ok cool. We met through a dating website. I guess I will provide a narrative including website details, maybe try to find initial communication.

We received our RFE in the mail today. We were notified of the RFE 5/3 and received in the mail 5/6. Pretty quick.

They are requesting 2 items:

1) translating a document. (Easy, we've got that covered.)

2) They want more details behind how we met online.  All we stated on the application was "we met online".

What detail did you all provide for this?

They are asking how you met AND where you met in person.  This is my 3rd petition and all 3 times I said we met on Facebook and met in person in Manila on such and such date.

They are only inquiring about the initial online meetup. I believe their main concern is whether it was through an international marriage broker or not. And we did not use that.

Hi guys, I have a quick question on the I-134

when I go to the embassy for the interview, does it need to be the original document? or can my fiancé send me over a copy?

many thanks

I am about to mail the original next week. I love my woman and want to see her again ASAP and I will not risk any delays on my part.

Hopefully, when they get back up and running next week, there'll be more approvals than RFEs. I've seen tons of RFE'd cases for January, ours included, and I bet you a lot of those were due to USCIS' carelessness. Still a little pissed that we got RFE'd for passport photos we already sent them. Our photos were in a bag attached to the bio forms AND THEY STILL LOST THEM... or they're breezing through applications that they missed em.

I had RFE before about Form G-325A even that I already sent out...But after you send your RFE, they might approve your case within 2 weeks as mine.

And hey, we already had packet 3 and we already sent to US Embassy, thanks for your help a lot and good luck to your journey !

Hello all, been following this thread 2 weeks ago.

FIrst time posting this, here is my story.

January 23 filer here. Me and my sister filed at the same time, got our NoA1 at the same time (January 23). But there's a little difference between me and my sister, she filed her K1 with her fiance (same sex), while I got the regular one (opposite sex). She got approved on April 28th, and mine is still untouched. I am so glad and happy for her. Not so lucky with me, I think there's a specific officers who work for just same sex ? I don't know, a lot of things going on my mind thinking why my paper still not approved but she got hers.

What do you guys think?

It is just a lottery of which officer pick which box of cases and where your cases stand in the boxes...It sucks but it is what it is ...My NOA1 is Jan 13th and still nothing for me while some much later cases got their approvals ...Guess we are in the same box.

I am happy for her, they've been together for 11 years already so yea. they deserve it. She and her fiance told me that they are going to wait for my fiance to come here. The visa will last for 6 months anyways so I say there's still a lot of time..

Don't worry, I have been complaining before as well haha! And here we are complaining when some december filers haven't gotten theirs neither ...Wishing for our approval does not mean we want someone else not to get theirs....I just wish they worked faster and that they would spare us the bullshit of : cases are being worked on in the order they are received...Obviously not...
