No doubt. This week was supposed to be when my case was potentially adjudicated. It's my luck that all of the service centers just close down shop when my number came up. :)

Best case scenario is that the site was being worked on and they snail mailed out status updates. I'm hoping that the system will all of the sudden update and show a ton of approvals

I know the feeling our VisaJourney estimated time had passed almost two weeks ago :(

The website updates theory seems plausible. Im just hoping this inactivity does not extend into next week.

Does anyone know if a person keeps the same receipt or gets a new one after a "Case Rejected" update? Not sure if I should skip these in my scan.

I waited 3 months and USCIS approved the process, but now it's at the NVC and they are stonewalling. It's been 6 weeks and not sent to the Embassy in Morocco. Apparently it's in an administrative processing. They won't answer any questions so I went to my Senator and they are pursuing it. Sometimes that is what is needed to get these government agencies to respond. I'm beyond frustrated and so is my fiancee.

There have been no approvals at all this morning month for Feb filers and nothing touched for 2 days.

Hopefully, when they get back up and running next week, there'll be more approvals than RFEs. I've seen tons of RFE'd cases for January, ours included, and I bet you a lot of those were due to USCIS' carelessness. Still a little pissed that we got RFE'd for passport photos we already sent them. Our photos were in a bag attached to the bio forms AND THEY STILL LOST THEM... or they're breezing through applications that they missed em.

Is it possible that they didn't lose your passport photos, but that they didn't meet the requirements? Our RFE was for that too, but ours were taken in Europe and as such didn't meet the specific requirements, despite being official passport photos?

Hey peeps, I'm currently not at home and missed a lot entries. You all know how I freaked out about my RFE since my fiancé paid a lot of money for a lawyer.

Yesterday we got the letter, they it was about the passport pictures. I was wondering since the pics we sent were fine. Nope they weren't. Our smart lawyer lady forgot about to wright names and eventually an A number under every picture. When we sent petition we never got an A number. Now she tells us that the CSC lost a lot of pictures that's why there are so many RFEs about the passport styled pics

I don't get it. We will sent out our corrected pics on Monday. Thank you my fiancé had an extra passport picture of me in his wallet.

Good morning, April filer here 😊

I was reading through all the other threads as I often do and saw your post. You do in fact get a new receipt number. At least we did in our case. My fiancé wrote $530 instead of $535 on the cheque. We would have been March filers but alas we are not. We ended up calling USCIS when we noticed others getting their NOA1's and we had not yet received ours.  The agent on the phone gave us our receipt number regarding the rejected file. We received a new receipt number when they received our package back with the correct fee.

I don't think so, otherwise they would have stated it differently. Someone who got an RFE because of that showed her letter and it said "did not meet our requirements", but our said "please submit a passport-style photograph" so I am 100% sure our photos got lost. :(

Below is the link to the Google Drive folder where I will be putting my scanned data and analysis at the end of each business day. The scan takes about 30 minutes and then another few minutes to move into Google Drive. Expect to see new data around 11 PM Central Time (12 AM Eastern).

I don't want anyone volunteering to be backups because 1) I am mainly doing this for myself so that I am not dependant on anyone else, 2) I trust my own work better than anyone else's, 3) I am doing this for fun because I am bored and waiting for USCIS (so if others were doing this, I would not have fun doing it myself) and 4) I see my effort as a backup to what others are already doing.

What I will be uploading is my own creation, from scratch, so it will not resemble the format of what others have been posting.

Thank you very much for the update info @dbmathis. We really appreciate it.
