It's very confusing. I wish there's a way for us to speak up about this with someone or institutions whom can help us to see what's really going on at USCIS  and our files get speedy response after that.

its like I said. I think it would behoove all of us to call USCIS every day, because most likely many times we will get someone different on the phone. Let them know that we are well aware and have hard evidence cases were not approved this week and expect answers. They did take our money, and the service we have received so far is unacceptable.

It would be nice if they give us an email about this week but we recieved absolutely nothing. I refuse to standby and let this happen, i want to make sure that I will speak to someone about this issue at UCSIS and if i do reach a conclusion I will let everybody know, because we deserve that right.

Maybe they are implementing a brand new, highly efficient, processing system and it takes a week to train employees in new system and to implement new system :)

I actually work in a government office. And during high call volume they have to pull floor staff to the phones. When that happens the staff gets frustrated because they get behind in their work because of all the excessive calls. Admittedly, it is just a tax office. Ha ha Ha ha ha

I keep seeing you say you have hard evidence that cases were not approved this week.  I am curious to what that evidence is?  The scans run by @AkesAngel @NatO23 @glmg21 and others (they are all awesome people and we all appreciate the time they take to complete those! :) ) would not be considered hard evidence of no approvals.  It does give the picture of that but there could be other factors that would lead to approvals not showing up in their scans.  If they are going through a system upgrade or their servers are getting jammed (with potentially the H1B this week).

Actually it is hard evidence, and yes I am talking about scans. I also have my own scans, I just dont have the time to run them every single night and then organize for viewing of others.

If they are going to a system upgrade, it is up to them to keep the public informed. Same with the H1B, especially if it is requiring case workers from other case types to stop what they are doing and do H1B.

Just like fingerprints at the scene of the crime are hard evidence, but do the fingerprints tell the whole story? Not necessarily.

So most certainly I would call them if I was anyone here and cite the hard evidence (scans). They took our money and have not provided service thus far. Typically when hard evidence is presented against you, typically  a corroborated alibi is needed.

Perhaps they are still working on building the pyramid and shifted the workers over to that effort.

They don't have to inform you about their normal process changes sbane ... they gave you an expected time frame for the petition and it's saying 3-5 months ... so tbh I dont see your point. They have changed the fees (if I'm right the first time in 8 years) ... they never said it will be faster.

I'm really sorry for that happens, but O really think it won't help at all to give them more to do as they already have to do (I agree there with @Bitofanerd)

Yes, much to do, including building the pyramid. :)

They approve petitions between dragging huge stone blocks across the ground. It's a tough job, but someone has to do it.

I agree, I think our expectations are a bit unreasonable. There was a bout of speediness but we all now that history shows difference in processing speed so let us not hurt by the fact that we fall in the unfortunate group.

We can only hope that this is just a time lag and nothing more serious. I also agree that calling is wasting time we are just case numbers the agents do not sympathize with how we feel so guys plz be patient. We will get there, I understand the frustration because for the past week all I've done is get off work read these forums for 2 hours, talk to my babe and go to sleep absolutely nO productivity in my life at the moment. 😞😔

Technically they do actually have to inform us. That is why they have the whole "current processing dates" in the first place, because it is written policy, just as the restrictions on inquiring about a case newer then those dates.

It is actually most certainly natural to expect higher service for higher fees paid. At the very least equatable service. So far many of us have received far lower service than those who paid far less. Since they are a Government, not a private agency, they should be using said additional money to higher more workers to increase the output.
Expecting more for paying more is pretty much the standard of how everything works with our monetary system.

I don't really care tbh if you are others don't think its hard evidence, or that USCIS is doing the right thing. I am doing my part and fighting for what I want. My only suggestion to help others in the same situation is to follow through as well, as more voices may cause enough annoyance at USCIS to get answers at least.

Actually no there wasn't a "bout of speediness" there was many cases throughout last year being approved in 60 days, I even saw quite a few that were less. And those are just the ones I managed to see. Before last year? I personally know people that had their entire process Application to visa in hand take less time then I have currently waited, but that was years ago.

So far USCIS processing time has been pretty much slowing down for K1s and i think it is mainly CR-1s that see the most fluctuation.
