Hi guys thanks for the response

I think I will be safe and will get the original. I just wanted to check, we only need the original I-134 form? so the pay slips and all other documents can be copies emailed over right? as long as the actual signed form is the original.

thanks

I really don't know, but it's worrying me a lot. I'm going to assume we won't get any movement today, and that this whole week will probably have just been a waste. If they don't get back to normal next week, I'll REALLY start to worry.

I know we won't get anywhere by calling to ask for an update on specific cases, as we'll just get the 'inside normal processing time' answer, but do you think there's any point in calling to ask if CSC has been shut down for the week or on reduced activity or something??

I'm gonna contact USCIS today first then if there is no success, I will contact my congressman, did ou have to copy your whole 129f petition to your congressman or did you just fill out the authorization form?

This is not right at all what they are doing. It's so bad now,  it's  starting to affect my sleeping pattern..

Okay, let us know how you get on. I'm sure they will try to get rid of you with the 'normal processing time' line, but if you ask about the lack of activity this week and have any updates you can share, that would be really helpful. We're all pretty keen to know what the heck has been happening/not happening over the past few days!

I'm not sure about the authorization form, I'm afraid... I haven't gone down that route myself (yet).

Good luck with everything - I hope you're able to get some answers.

For all ppl who are thinking about to call USCIS for the low amount of worked cases this week ... you all may think about that the scans done for VJ are nothing officially that you can bring up there.

I don't see why not. The app data is public. I think we should all call every day and keep trying with the potential of getting someone on the line more akin to slipping us some insight. You don't have to mention VJ  specifically but mention that you have access to hard evidence that no cases were approved (I'm not counting the 1) this week for any month

Something else that interests me is I was reading USCIS policy earlier this week and I'm pretty sure it states that if a case is not touched in a 90 day period it is no longer considered to being "actively processed". Which would completely contradict their processing dates listed using their own policy against them

Last night was the first full run of my scraping script, and I thought something was wrong when I saw only one January caser touched yesterday. Since I didn't have December or February data yet I just figured they were cleaning up the backlog or had moved ahead, but after reading through the threads here, seems not to be the case either.. Hopefully it picks up today and next week.

Here's what my January scan shows:

December scan is done and doesn't include any good news ... only one case touched and that one was an RFE.

I'm almost thinking about if they forgot to update their data!?

That is what i am thinking, That maby its a computer system error. becasue how would they even just pick out RFE cases that does not makes sence, because they dont know it is an RFE untill they look at the case, that must mean they also tuched cases that would b an aproval aatleast on the days were there were 60 someting RFE and no aprovals. Just seems like extra work to not aprove them when you are working on them. so im thinging they either dit not update them becasuse there working on the system and they have a different way of updating RFe then aprovals. or they ar purposfully not puting in the numbers for aprovals to meat some kind of quota later. adn that we will get a large amouth of aprovals later on.

another reason that they might not put update the aprovals online yet, is becasue the NVC is backlogged to, and they get people calling almost every day to ask if there case arived for 3 instead of 2 weeks now. could really lowers there work load by just updating cases after they are already at the NVC for a few weeks.

Something to think about...

There are so many variables, as we see with all the speculation on what is going on in this forum, that affect the processing of all those applications. Staff leaving or retiring and and a Federal hiring freeze in effect, politics (as we see with the H1b visas), trainings, software outages or upgrades, vacation time, sickness, or other project priorities that interfere with daily processing. The list could go on and on and on, and we will never know why these delays are happening. But...

I have been following the December numbers for the last few days, and noticed that there is still about 70 touches happening over there. There's also a ton of outstanding applications that have not even been touched yet and RFEs being addressed.

Personally, I feel really sorry for them. And now suddenly my waiting and 113 days isn't that bad.

Maybe Donald Trump put a freeze on all K1s :)

It is interesting how it all started on the first of the month.  Seems coincidental that the timing of the 1st of May being the beginning of the slow down doesn't have anything to do with it?

But as Bitofanerd said... SOOO many variables and possibilities in play here that all we can do is speculate.  And speculate will drive us mad.
