I disagree if a war was already started she would then be by definition a refugee. I'm pretty sure that would be a much easier and faster process to get her here. I highly doubt USCIS is going to say "we can only expedite if Japan was already hit by N Korean missiles and your fiancee potentially injured or worse"

Did they grant you an expedite based on that? Just curious.

I just requested it today it takes up to 5 days they said to get a decision

Oh okay good luck! Keep us updated!

Do you know if at this point an expedite would make a difference considering they are already technically working on Jan cases? Just trying to decide whether or not its worth the hassle to ask for one.

Well its like one of those things....even though they are working on Jan cases there is no guarantee I mean really us as individuals are powerless they could just as easily not touch my case or your case for another month or 2....  not to be a downer I'm just saying what it looks like they could legally get away with

As with anything in life fight for what you want every way that you can

USCIS just selected me for a survey! They wanted to know how they could improve the process. OMG, I let them have it!!! I told them that it's horrendous and downright unethical keeping us in limbo for months, years, not knowing if or when we will see our loved ones again. I feel like I am back in freaking kindergarten.

Well hopefully they could improve the process after you let them have it!.

Wish everyone get the approval soon.

You were the right person to be picked for a survey my friend.

I'm sure you didn't hold back on how you honestly feel with the progress we have seen since Friday.

Maybe, just maybe, someone will listen to your recommendations and things will start moving along again.

Thank you for sharing this with us and your support in this forum.

As to help whomever is trying the scan: there is a limit on the USCIS system for amount of queries from a single IP within 72 hours. I believe it is 5000. That is why the best way  to do a scan that consists of a daily or nightly update is to use Amazon  Web Services EC2 and simply stop the instance and start it back us every night which will give the server a new UP. Just Remote desktop and run the scan from a Windows based micro. All of this information was given to me by geo as I was going to do the scans for everyone here but simple found I don't have enough time and spending too much time on this site stressed me out more

Thanks. I was just in the process of configuring my network to rotate IPs every 4000 queries. That seemed to be the magic ban number for me. Once I have the data, with the approvals, I think I can pull it off with one IP, by filtering out querying the site for receipts with approval status.

Isn't it ridiculous the lengths we have to go through to see what's up due to this organization's antiquated and silly way of doing things?

Totally ridiculous. I have to say that I will not be surprised if we see small numbers again. I know the 200 applications that I'm watching tonight have not changed at all since May 2. :(

We got a RFE on April 26th and just received the letter in mail today (our mailing address is in Canada). I had a week to think about why our case got a RFE; I figured it might have been that I only sent photos as evidence for our relationship/met in person in the last 2 years. And I was right!

Our RFE states "REQUIREMENT THAT PETITIONER AND BENEFICIARY HAVE MET IN PERSON" and in smaller font, it says "circumstances of meeting" and "personal meeting".

A little background story about us... We've been dating for just under 3 years, and have been living together for about 1.5yrs. We do have a rental lease agreement signed in both names, joint bank account statements, at least 5 trip itineraries/airline booking confirmations with both names on the same page, Chinese visitor Visa issued on the same date (VISA sticker on our passports), stamps on our passports from different countries with the same dates. I definitely didn't do enough homework before sending out our petition. We will send back everything I mentioned above along with a letter signed by both of us confirming that we have met in person in the last 2 years.

Am I missing anything here? Please give me some advice my friends :) Thank you all in advance!

Quick question. Hope someone is online to answer me.

Is the A# on the RFE letter my (beneficiary) alien number?

Thanks!
