Well said, thank you. We found the @Martin & Rona post to be very rude.

you always have the option to put someone on ignore.

As for my congressional inquiry I pretty much explained in detail everything i told USCIS on the phone. I wrote it all in a letter and signed a release form then faxed it all to my representative. I made sure to include that I have hard evidence that their current publicly posted  processing dates are completely dishonest. I included that I have evidence of many cases past my own that were NOT approved for expedite being approved. The primary issue I brought up which is also the reasoning I gave USCIS  for my expedite request was an emergent situation due to the increased tensions between the US and N Korea I believe represents a clear and imminent danger threatening the safety of my fiancee as N Korea has first and second strike capability range on Japan where my fiancee resides which is also a strong US ally

If someone can just send me a spreadsheet of all the January data, I think I have my code running good enough to be a backup.

I've been trying to understand what pattern USCIS is looking at to ban me each time I try to scrape the data. I can usually scrape for about 4 hours across about 4000 cases and then they block me. I think it's a lot to do with the need to get an initial set of data so that I can do lighter scrapes throttled even further back, in maybe batches of 500, every few hours. Like I said before, there are other types of cases between the K1s, and if you go back to December, you will see there's in the neighborhood of 100,000 cases. The only way to know if each receipt is a K1 is to look at the site. Hence why need the January data, so that I can finish my code and ignore any of those 100,000 that's not K1

Of course, I do code for a living, usually about 60 hours a week, and I have kids and am a single Dad half the time. It all depends on if I have time.

@AkesAngel.. Please correct me if I'm mistaken but I feel confused with the reveal hidden content on last update on May 3rd and May 2nd that you've posted since the last two days.

On May 2nd, it's written on your post the case untouched/left for January 17th is 55, the case left for January 18th is 10.

But then when I read your post for May 3rd, I feel confused because on reveal hidden content said case untouched for January 17th is 89 and for January 18th is 69.

I'm sorry if I talk too much. I hope you could help my confusion. Thanks in advance :)

It may have happened that the scan from may 2nd was a bit off ... maybe that's why they had a maintenance last night ... I assume that the data from today is correct but will keep an eye on it. Thank you for your post!

Charles - I wasn't aware my comments were going to cause such serious controversy.

I have learned to keep my suggestions to myself, especially now when people in this forum have been waiting for over 3 months to get any response from USCIS.

I'll beg forgiveness if I offended anyone here again and will take you up on your one time offering on your earlier post:

As to help whomever is trying the scan: there is a limit on the USCIS system for amount of queries from a single IP within 72 hours. I believe it is 5000. That is why the best way  to do a scan that consists of a daily or nightly update is to use Amazon  Web Services EC2 and simply stop the instance and start it back us every night which will give the server a new UP. Just Remote desktop and run the scan from a Windows based micro. All of this information was given to me by geo as I was going to do the scans for everyone here but simple found I don't have enough time and spending too much time on this site stressed me out more

It's not a bad idea to contact a congressman about the issue, i will pursue the same way if I do not hear a response about the case by this week.

More importantly, i believe that everybody's case is as equal in importance.Unfortunately, I don't believe they will expedite a case unless there is an actual war going on, otherwise everybody would have their case's expidited.

What we all can do is complain to our Congressman to get the USCIS in regular working order instead of being slowed down nearly 3x the rate. Maybe enough inquiries will force a positive change in the workflow.

I disagree if a war was already started she would then be by definition a refugee. I'm pretty sure that would be a much easier and faster process to get her here. I highly doubt USCIS is going to say "we can only expedite if Japan was already hit by N Korean missiles and your fiancee potentially injured or worse"
