I am typically the person that likes to draw lines in the sand as it were in situations like this.  My first line was past this Monday when we did not receive an Approval. My reaction to that line being crossed was that I contacted my local Congresswoman and initiated a congressional inquiry, with multiple reasons to back it up.

Seeing them not even make progress in Approvals for multiple days was salt on the wound of already experiencing far lower service then people from 2016 that paid significantly lower fees. This was line #2. My reaction to this line being crossed was I called up USCIS today and gave them a piece of my mind (in a nice way but more like an intellectual bully kind of way) at the same time I requested an expedite. I also made sure that they were aware that I am aware (and have hard evidence) the "current processing dates" (Nov 2016) they give out are lies.

Eventually.... somewhere down the road..... a line exists that has a reaction of me cancelling said petition... and instead moving to live with my Fiancee...

With that said.... I have been pretty much following the situation on this site, since they were doing October filers. I don't remember a single day until this week where there has been 0 approvals. I would normally say maybe just a problem with their system/ whoever is assigned to manually enter case statuses as it seems Approvals are manually updated in the system that shows case status. However, I would certainly have expected such an issue be solved by now.

On what ground did you request expedite? My fiancé and I wouldn't mind paying, but unfortunately for K1 it does not work that way. In our case I guess we just do not apply for expedite.

111days since NOA1, 114 since received. I have been 5 years with my fiancé, haven't overstayed. We have been visiting each other many time and such. We took a lawyer and they were amazed at how easy our case was so really...

Hi.

A few thoughts from me on this, and I'm going to try and keep things friendly if possible, so we can all just move on from this.

I was one of the people who attempted to get the script running, with help from @AkesAngel - she spent hours of her own time trying to make this work for me, and we couldn't get it up and running due to the fact that I'm on a new Mac. It's not an easy task to take on - both running the script AND teaching someone how to get it going - so I think it's best to just float that out there, and make it clear that it's a very time-consuming process to even try to hand it over. Your offer to be a backup is very nice and I'm sure it's very much appreciated, but please be kindly reminded that this process will involve a lot of someone's time to collate files for you, talk you through it, troubleshoot etc.

"The data is not being posted in a timely manner". Please bear in mind that nobody is getting paid for this. You appear to be complaining to the scan posters as if they are your cable provider. This task is being taken on by people who have full time jobs, are dealing with the stress of waiting as we all are, have other commitments in life, possibly have kids... this undertaking is done as a favour to everyone on VJ, and is by no means a service that they are obligated to provide. If Geo - the original author of the code - were less of a decent person, he could very well have kept the code to himself or charged people for it.

I realise that you are frustrated with the wait, and I really do both sypathise and empathise - we are all in this together. However, your post was rather insulting and slightly attacking towards people who have been doing their best to keep up with a job that takes up a very large amount of time, which they are doing for free. Before the script existed, nobody had any idea how things were going each day - they just waited. We've been extremely lucky here, and I think it's worth just taking a breath before criticising people and making demands.

If you want to do something yourself, use the app. That's what I do. I've added the case numbers for i-129f cases this month using a recent data sheet, and I do a manual search every morning of 500 at a time. There are less than 1,500 untouched cases now, so it barely takes any time at all. I'm sorry that I can't offer to help you run the script, but if there's a will to get this done, you can use the app and do it that way. I honestly do wish you all the best, and hope you have a speedy approval process.

Just my two cents...

Well said, thank you. We found the @Martin & Rona post to be very rude.

I didn't mean to offend anyone here. I was just trying to make a suggestion that apparently was taken out of context.

I was only suggesting that someone that is willing and responsible enough to take on the task of running the script and posting the data who would act as a back up.

Like I said in my original post, EVERYONE here appreciates the time and effort @AkesAngel puts in to running the scripts and posting the data.

To your point, we're beating a dead horse here and feel that we should just move on.

We all need to remain positive in this room and try to support one another. That is what this forum is about.

My apologies to anyone that I may have offended with my comments.

Thank you so much! You just put my thought into words! I will have my fiance call them as well. First, we werent sure if he should but now I am convinced that sharing our side of the story is important.

Based on what reason did you file for expediting your case as my fiance and I received our NOA1 just a couple of days before you guys?

I'll take the apology here, still not a friend of the tone you put into your posts or PMs.

And now let's move on!

It's wise said @NatO23. I think that you, @AkesAngel, @glmg21 has been very helpful on posting the new info of January update scan for us. And I feel grateful with all this help. At least, it helps my mind not to worry a lot when I see there's progress everyday.

@Martin & Rona I understand how stressful we're on the waiting for our file to be touched by USCIS as we knew that they work randomly. Please calm down and try to control your emotion. I follow this thread since the beginning , read all of the comments from this community. You had been very positive before, you motivated us with good words, but I think you get stress lately on this waiting game. I wish that we could help to speed up the process but we can't do anything, just wait patiently.

I believe that we are here to support each other while we wait for our turn to get Noa2 to comes. So, let's just be nice and understand each other.

Very well said and grateful I am to have everyone here on this forum for support.

Thank you for your very positive post.

We have the same NOA1 date, I try not to look at this site too often because I get upset that cases after our date are approved but I try to stay positive as much as possible...I know sooner or later we'll get something...I heard having that letter from Congress definitely gets your case pulled quicker but do they ask anything specific, like what kind of information to include in the letter or is it a generic one they send to USCIS?

Thanks!
