Hoping to see an update scan from yesterday on May 3rd to see how many cases are left for January.

And for those who still wait for Noa2, I understand this things sometimes makes us emotionally tired. I pray God lighten our worries and we will get the new notification from USCIS soon.

Working on my USCIS VBA data pull script again. Added some randomness to it and slowed it down. If this works, and I don't get banned again, will add some database code to it to skip non-K1 and approved which will speed up the scrape. It's very insightful watching all of the different types of responses that get sent out. I could be a backup for the others that are already doing this type of thing if I find the time. If not, it's fun writing the code anyway. :)

Wow that's pretty impressive that you are able to run the script. I see that you offered to be a back to run the data for us Jan Filers and they aren't offering their help.

Our RFE date was April 14 our case was updated end of day so the mail was probably sent out the day after. My fiancee received it April 22 Saturday. My fiancee sent the file back that same day and they received it April 26 Wednesday. Patiently waiting for the decision which I've heard takes an average of 2 weeks.

I feel that I've to say something for your post ...

First: it is the first word I heard about @dbmathis wants to be back up.

Second: I can not help with how to set up a script ... so I could not help him with that.

Third: I tried to work it out before my trip with 5 ppl to do the scan. To explain it takes also time as to do it, and just saying that I also had to work it out by myself when I got the scripts from geowrian. And more ppl got the scripts before I left for my vacation.

Fourth: Remember that all ppl doing scans and give VJ ppl a heads up on what happens on USCIS don't have to do that. Its our time we invest to do it ...

And now please go on and tell me again, that it is selfish ... or maybe next time think about it a bit more before you shoot ...

Tons for RFE's

It's clear what the focus is on this week.

To be honest, I think they're just passing through the files now. We got an RFE requesting passport photos of us when we sent them along with the petition. Our photos were in a ziplock bag, attached to the back of the bio form. Pretty sure they lost it considering how disorganized they are, or they're just speeding through cases now and the officer who reviewed ours missed our photos. It's very frustrating finding out our RFE was for something we already sent.

So yeah, looking at the number of RFEs, it makes me wonder if all these people really submitted incomplete/insuffucient documents or if USCIS officers are rushing and being careless.

Please clarify. You first said that you can not help how to run the script and then you contradict yourself saying that you tried working this out with  5 ppl to do the scan before taking a break. I totally get that you have been running the data for us Jan Filers on your own time and everyone here appreciates your efforts. Where the frustration comes in is whoever the 5 ppl are plus "more ppl" obviously don't have the time in their schedule to do the scans.

The data is not being posted in a timely manner from the previous day and why is that? The ppl here that have offered to take on this responsibility have been blown off, me being one of them, so I don't feel that my comment about being selfish is inappropriate because my offer to help has falling on deaf ears.

Now that you have your NOA2 I'm sure your time is focused on the next steps of the process. For the benefit of the rest of us it seems the responsible thing to do is to assign responsibility of someone else running the scans so that you can hand off and to the next person that would be responsible for taking on this task.

My two cents at least........

I feel like there is a misunderstanding going on here. I know that there are several people doing scans, both glmg21 and AkesAngel have been doing a good job posting daily scans. It seems like part of the issue is that there just isn't much data that has been changed in the past few days. With close to 0 approvals, the scan data won't change much except for RFEs.

Anyway, I hope the CSC gets back in gear and does some approvals today!
