If you sent translated documents, the reason may be for something else. We got an RFE as well and I was almost one hundred percent sure it's because my fiance and I met through OkCupid. I was wrong. We just got the mail today and we're being asked to send passport photos. Apparently, they lost the ones in the packet that we sent. Let us know what your RFE is for once you receive the letter in the mail!

I did not get RFE , im still waiting for my NOA2 , just gave an example for Steve&Ligia of the translated documents we sent.

We also sent passport photos with all stamps of our trips , so hopefully they dont ask for anything more. We will keep paciently waiting , Currently on day 93 so we'll see , really looking forward to that noa2

Got my RFE notification today...pretty disappointed. I guess we just have to wait to see why now. Hoping for approvals for the rest of you!

Maybe.  I think it does support the idea that adjudicators have been in training for the last two day resulting in no or very few cases being touched.

They trained on something new, and now the system was updated.

It's a stretch but it kind of makes sense.

From my researches, you can start file the DS160 form and wait for 3,4 days til send an inquiry to US Embassy for an e-package 3.

How long did you wait after the noa2?

Things might be different with countries. I think u should look through threads regarding to your country

How to get an e-package 3, do I have to email the local embassy?

Yeah. I would contact the local embassy for epackage. The link i would go to will be

https://vn.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/immigrant-visa-inquiry-form/

Might be different from your local us embassy tho.

Im still waiting for package to be received at NVC. So this suggestion isnt from my experience. You can go look around to have more reliable suggestions :D

Yet again... another weird day at CSC

Manual search using app, results I got are:

12 x response to RFE received

108 x RFE sent

0 x approval

They did maintenance last night, so maybe that was done to fix some kind of problem they were having/update that was needed for approvals to be logged. Or something. I don't know, it's all just speculation now and I'm sure everyone has a bunch of other theories. RFE isn't the outcome anybody would pick as their first choice, but at least they're still working. Best of luck to everyone, and here's hoping for a better day today with a flurry of approvals.

01/18/17 - I-129F mailed to Lewisville, TX

01/25/17 - NOA1

05/05/17 - NOA2 (100 days from NOA1)

05/19/17 - NVC received and case number assigned

05/26/17 - Case left NVC, status 'In Transit'

05/30/17 - Medical

05/31/17 - Consulate received

07/13/17 - Interview, APPROVED!

07/21/17 - Visa in hand

07/22/17 - POE Newark, successful

08/02/17 - Married

08/23/17 - AOS filed (incl. EAD and AP)

08/31/17 - NOA1 date on AOS packet

09/21/17 - Biometrics appt

10/16/17 - Online tracker says 'Ready for Interview'

11/09/17 - EAD and AP approved

11/16/17 - EAD/AP combo card arrived

12/19/17 - Green card interview

12/22/17 - RFE received (medical had been lost)

01/23/18 - Green card in production

Working on my USCIS VBA data pull script again. Added some randomness to it and slowed it down. If this works, and I don't get banned again, will add some database code to it to skip non-K1 and approved which will speed up the scrape. It's very insightful watching all of the different types of responses that get sent out. I could be a backup for the others that are already doing this type of thing if I find the time. If not, it's fun writing the code anyway. :)
