Guys, my status on CEAC shows READY :D, but we haven't received any Packets yet. What's the next step? Do I wait for the packets?

From my researches, you can start file the DS160 form and wait for 3,4 days til send an inquiry to US Embassy for an e-package 3.

How long did you wait after the noa2?

Things might be different with countries. I think u should look through threads regarding to your country

As a long time federal employee,  I can tell you the most probable cause is a mandatory training day. These happen periodically through the fiscal year and can be any topic from new procedures to fun stuff like Internet Security or SHARP (sexual assault prevention).

Hah, that's true. My fiance works for the county and they have training quite often. Oh well, good thing people keep their abilities sharp and updated :)

This is just a question out of curiosity since I hope we are still more than good in terms of timing, but does anybody know if there is the option to take the cost to have the documents being shipped from the Service Center to the NVC and from the NVC to the Embassy via overnight shipping? My fiancé asked me last night and I had no idea.

hi all just want to make sure I am doing this right.

On the ds 160. Do you put the uscis number so the wac number or the number you get from the nvc. I am reading conflicting information  on some pages and want to make sure I do the correct one.

The ds160 seems to to ask for the uscis one, but some people have said the other reference as that is the embassies. My embassy doesn't even take calls to confirm

Can anyone help, does it make a difference as they can search with either?

Thanks

Bear in mind that I don't have the latest scan data, so I'm just working from my own numbers that I've pulled together from previous sheets...

Yesterday is showing as:

1 x approved

43 x RFE

18 x other (response to RFE received etc)

That's what I got from running saved i-129f cases in the app, so please forgive any discrepancies when compared to the scan that we may get later. Should be pretty accurate though, I'm confident in my method!

With those cases subtracted, I now have 1,365 cases for January that are still on 'received' status, ie haven't been touched.

If you take out the group of January cases that were rejected immediately for wrong fees or other obvious errors. 1,365 cases is around 50% of all remaining!!! Aduh!

Your WAC Receipt Number on DS 160. You will need the case number in scheduling the actual interview.

Hey all ... I'm sorry and I feel really bad for not being able to help you with the scans for the last week. We had trouble with the internet connection and the scans didn't run well. We also had his kids with us and that was important for me to spend time with them. So yes I totally forgot to look into VJ and again ... I apologize for not giving a heads up at least.

Thank you @glmg21 for taking over ... let me know if you want to continue. I also can as I'm back in Germany.

Hi @AkesAngel.

Yeay!. Happy to know that you come back again on VJ.  Don't worry!. We understand that you're on holiday and we're glad to know that you enjoyed the time with your fiance and his kids.

@glmg21 has been very helpful by doing an update scan while you're away.

I think if you're not busy, you can continue on doing an update scan. But if you are busy, we will understand and will wait for @glmg21 to do an update scan.

There are like 45% of January filers who's already got their Noa2 and some RFE

Our received date is Jan 17th, with Noa1 on Jan 18th. Some files before and after us already got their Noa2 but we still wait. Hopefully today or this first week of May will be our day to get Noa2 or RFE

Good morning all!

Another week starts today!  No more long, unproductive, useless weekend feelings until 5 consecutive days of approvals and RFE's arrive first!  It should be a good week for a lot of you.  I can feel it.

I just got back from my trip to Colombia to see my fiance.  It turned out to be a perfectly planned trip as we got our NOA2 last week and celebrated together.  She was in much better spirits and we both now can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I've noticed a lot of emotions building up in a lot of you and wanted to share my quick advice/experience.  The weeks leading up to my NOA2 I was beginning to become a mess.  I waited 109 days and past the estimated time by two weeks. The wait and the checking and the tracking was interfering with my daily life, my work, my happiness.  It is easy to blame the USCIS and get upset over their methods, but in reality we are nothing but 1 small stack of papers among thousands and thousands of stacks of papers.

It wasn't till after I got my NOA2 approval that I realized that all my pain and suffering leading up to the NOA2 was not a product of the USCIS, but instead a self inflicted pain and misery.  I was doing it to myself.  We like to think our petition is the most important one.  The only one that matters to us.  Why is MY petition taking this long?  What did I do wrong?  Why are they skipping MINE?  When will I be approved?  But as I said, each one of us is 1 among thousands being processed.  And given the unconventional approval system, it is like a lottery of sorts.  But in our lottery, we are nearly guaranteed to be a winner as it is really hard to be rejected at this stage of the process.  You would know if you would be rejected and never would have submitted the petition in the first place.  Everyone here will receive approval, or RFE then approval.

The best things in life are worth waiting for.

Never give up on a dream just because of the time it takes to achieve it.

It's like torture being away from the one you love.  But a few months will be minuscule when compared to the lifetime of happiness that follows.  And I think we all can sacrifice a few months for a lifetime of happiness.

And for those of you with faith, let me add my favorite words of wisdom that has gotten me thru many situations in my life.  "God has perfect timing.  Never too early, never too late.  When it happens, it will be the exact right time, and it will be perfect."

Good luck to everyone this week!!!!

Thank you so much for this- you have me crying because I feel distressed and so does my fiancé. Received my NOA1 February 3rd I'm only at 90 days 🤧
