Know exactly how you feel! I've been feeling so discouraged and even more so now that's it's Friday and nothing, we're a Jan 20th received date...it sucks being so far away from your fiancé and especially with the time difference it's so hard! My fiancé is in Bulgaria and it's a 10 hour difference, we still talk every day for a few hours but it's not the same...wish they worked in order and were fair but I guess we have to wait next week!

It means that they tried to deliver our nao1 one but were not able to. and we had to reconferm our adress. but even after doing that our status was never updated and we never got our nao1.

But when we call they just tell us that they took notice of it and we don't need the nao1, and just to wait for an RFE or nao2.

Wow I couldnt imagine 10 hours. We are 6 hours apart.

Approved!!!! My fiance and I are so excited!!!! My NOA 1 was accepted on Jan 27th and NOA 2 approved today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to take a break from Visa Journey for a bit. The pain of seeing others getting there approvals even though they have waited less time is tearing us apart. 106 days of torture!!!! Good luck everyone.

Please comeback after the approval! Keep faiths, meanwhile go out do things to lift the stress of waiting game.

I wish you will be one of the approved filers next week.

Quick question to anyone that may know..... but does anyone know if we will get some sort of notification of when the NVC receives the petition?  Reason I ask is for VJ timeline purposes.  Next date data entry is "NVC Receive Date" but was unsure how I find that out?  Through calling them?  Or will I get a notification/mail/something?

I was wondering this as well, I called the nvc about three weeks after my noa2 (approval) to see if they had received it. The woman said that they did and will forward it to the embassy and to wait basically for I believe a letter or intructions of some sort.

It's bittersweet to be on VJ to see all the ones who received there NOA 2 today, congratulations to all those that received it!

 

Hitting 109 days since received date and 106 days since NOA 1, can't believe Monday will be hitting May... I was really hoping for my fiance to get here in July, but now I don't even know if that's possible.

The long journey

The sacrifice

The struggle

And the challenge we face in life (including the challenge of waiting for update from USCIS. lol)..

All those heavy things is disappear when we know that we have the privilege to be loved by the person that we love and he/she is waiting to be together with us.

And know that those long journey is worth every effort and fight.

WE WERE APPROVED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Oh my god my heart when I saw these words on the screen of my phone...

I am in France and I woke up in the middle of the night, I wanted to fall asleep again because I work in a few hours so I didn't check the USCIS website.. But I told to myself "I will check before to sleep again, just to see".... AND I SAW THESE WORDS !!!!!

 

I want to thanks VisaJourney for this amazing forum, this amazing help, and to thanks everyone of you, it was so helpful and it made me so hopeful to read this thread, the reports, to see that I was not alone in this "waiting journey"..

And for you who was not approved already.. Stop the bad scenarios, USCIS doesn't process in the right order, that's annoying but we can't change anything to that, so instead of letting anxiety and stress taking the control of your mind, be positive, you will be approved soon
