Hello,

You're better to call NVC - the letters apparently take forever and sometimes they never show up - have a look at my timeline below. It's a US number so best to get the US citizen to call (603) 334-0700.

You need your WAC number and both your dates of birth, they will be able to tell you if they have recieved the case, assigned the case number and if it's been sent to London or not.

Once you have the case number, you can track it on here: https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/ (Select immigrant visa and enter your case number). You can also book your medical once you've got the case number and once your status changes to 'Ready' , you can book your interview. Anymore questions feel free to direct message me! :)

PS - the UK forum will be better to post questions in now from this stage onwards, just as every embassy is different. Here is the link http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/99-united-kingdom/

How do you find a forum. I have been trying to find the canadian one and I just can't seem to find the different forums on VJ.

This is getting ridiculous. Im happy for everyone who has had their case touched, but I cannot help but be bitter when I see people who filed after us getting their approvals.

I know. :( I was feeling the same the entire week, but I tried so hard to be positive. Kept myself busy so I wouldn't keep lurking here and be jelly of other people. :( I know this is super difficult, but just imagine all the patient Nov and Dec filers who still haven't gotten their cases touched. Hang in there! Maybe next week will be your lucky week!

I don't mind waiting im just afraid we will end up being apart of the handful of cases that take an extra month or two

I know there is a ton of cases still in front of ours I just wish they would go in order even if i meant a longer wait for us. Im just afraid we will end up being one of those cases that gets forgotten about for months.

Thank you for the positivity though!

i do untherstand how you feel, we are januari 30 so not our turn yet. but we never got our nao1, and have been on the sataus of ducument returened for about 2 months now. so i do untherstand beeing worried your case gets left behind. and we both pulled trough feeling like that for about 3 weeks, and then we just could not take it anymore. You will drive yourself crazy and spiral down if you look at the wors case senario.
And if it does takes a month extra, that is to long to feel that way, my advice is if you posibly can, focus on your lives appart for now. for your fiancee spent time with  your famely (you wont see them much after you move)  for you spent time with your friends.
Do things together that make you happy, watch movies online, play games. try to get your mind of it for a bit, if you both break down that wont help.

Your case status is "documents returned"? What does that mean?

Yeah that makes sense. I guess it is too soon to panic anyways since there are still so many untouched cases for January.

Thank you for the positivity!

Hopefully we both hear back soon!
