Here are the totals that I've gathered from the most recent scan. PLEASE forgive any errors - I had to do this as a manual sort-and-search and so it may not be perfect. If it is out at all, it will only be by a case or two. And I apologise for that.

31-Jan 172

Looking at the data and to clarify these are cases that are still listed "AS Received" or otherwise not been touched.

I can't believe there are 51 filers for Jan 3rd that have not been touched yet 32 untouched for Jan 13th. I wish I knew what process if any USCIS uses to review each case. Obviously they are putting more effort into the earlier filers however you would think the Jan 3rd filers would have a lower number compared to a Jan 12 filer.

If anyone could crack the code on how USCIS process's these cases I would certainly like to know what that is.

Well the good news is they are chipping away at all Jan Filers at a pretty good rate now so we should all have a response from USCIS in the next couple of weeks......I would hope.

Congratulations to all of those Jan Filers that received approval this week and for the rest of us just keep praying and remain optimistic.

Thanks :). I used to live in Atlanta (well in Villa Rica right outside of Atlanta). Grew up in Chattanooga. I miss that area, the mountains, the seasons. Looks like Hahira is closer the southern border, though. Good luck on your approval too.

We live nex tto the Chattanooga river. i love it! the weather the nature. and also the people, they are warm and more open thenother places in teh US i have been. it feels more like NL were people can just strike up a confersation in the streets and know there nagbours. When i tryd to talk to people in Mishigan or oregan people always think you wnt something from you, or that you are a crazy person. But in georgia i know al the nagbours you can leave your door unlocked. on tv in europe you get the idea that the south are all bigotted, racist, homophobes. but my experience is a world appart.

Hello,

You're better to call NVC - the letters apparently take forever and sometimes they never show up - have a look at my timeline below. It's a US number so best to get the US citizen to call (603) 334-0700.

You need your WAC number and both your dates of birth, they will be able to tell you if they have recieved the case, assigned the case number and if it's been sent to London or not.

Once you have the case number, you can track it on here: https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/ (Select immigrant visa and enter your case number). You can also book your medical once you've got the case number and once your status changes to 'Ready' , you can book your interview. Anymore questions feel free to direct message me! :)

PS - the UK forum will be better to post questions in now from this stage onwards, just as every embassy is different. Here is the link http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/99-united-kingdom/

Good luck to everyone tonight. I know I will hoping for approval

Not looking forward to another long weekend still waiting

Amen to that. This waiting is really starting to take it's tool on everyone here.

The good news is USCIS is really making progress for us Jan Filers and we should all have a response within the next couple of weeks. OMG I don't think my nerves could stand another couple weeks.

Good luck to everyone tonight!!!!!

Congrats to all yesterdays approvals!

Quick question to anyone that may know..... but does anyone know if we will get some sort of notification of when the NVC receives the petition?  Reason I ask is for VJ timeline purposes.  Next date data entry is "NVC Receive Date" but was unsure how I find that out?  Through calling them?  Or will I get a notification/mail/something?

Thank you.

Yeah, they won't notify you at all until after they've forwarded it to the local embassy. Start calling them after 10-15 days to check on status and ask for the case number.

We've used (603) 334 0700 press 1 then 7 (M-F 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight EST, excluding holidays.)
Ask for status and if a case number has been assigned for the K-1.
Just be sure that you have the following information before calling:
Name and date of birth of the beneficiary
Name and date of birth of the petitioner
Receipt number (WAC number)

We started calling after 15 days, they didn't have it yet. They received ours after 21 days from NOA2, and they mentioned when they've received it, and gave us the case number right away. It left their department 2 days later.

K1 Flowhttp://www.visajourney.com/content/k1flow

Collect requirements for the meantime. Not sure if it's a requirement for you, but if you're doing the I-134 form, don't forget to write the A-Number for the beneficiary on page 2. A-Number is listed in the NOA2 right above the beneficiary's name. Had to reprint the page twice for missing it and after confirming it with the VJ experts in the PH portal.
