Reading that just calmed me down a little. I really feel like this process is also a 'test' for every relationship and the more you wait the more it kinda drives you crazy and you start overthinking and worrying. you're right, there shouldn't be anything to worry about when the relationship is real. Not sure if you're still waiting for NOA2 but I wish you good luck.

Sorry to everyone else for my non informational posts if you feel like our 'SLO' member, but sometimes you just have to talk to strangers about your fears to feel better. And I do feel better.

i'm still waiting for my nao2, but i have a B2 visa that i gotten last year.

So hoping someone from the Philippines can help on this question

Want to order certificates of live birth for my fiancee and her daughter as well as CENOMAR online

I called the the PSAHelpline and they said it was ok as long as delivered to her

just wanting to be sure I do not violate any privacy laws as it would be so much easier to have these delivered to her

Any thoughts on if this would be a issue

01/12/17 – I-129F mailed
01/17/17 – Delivered to lockbox

01/20/17 - NOA1

01/27/17 – I-797C arrived via USPS

05/05/17 - NOA2

05/23/17 - NVC Recieve

09/11/17 - Approved at Interview

09/30/17 - Visa in hand

10/17/17 - POE Washington DC

Hello..if the PSAHelpline says okay..then it should be. But the recipient of the document/s should present a valid ID that shows her/his name on the birth certificate upon delivery. Lucky for her to have a guy like you who likes to take care of everything. Goodluck!

Thanks for the response

They said as long as she has valid ID it should be ok

so she has both her and her daughters passport to show

hoping to make it a little easier on her as she still has to do medical as well as interview and getting around Manila is not so easy

So anything I can do to make it easier on her I will do

Also, don't forget that it appears that they send out RFEs anytime during the work day but approvals are processed and accessible during the hours of 9:00pm to 11:00pm Eastern time. Which is now. Hope hope hope hope today is our day. :)

It should be fine, yes. I've ordered mine several times. And for my brother too. They deliver it to the house. Make sure she's there to receive. They won't leave it to anyone else, unless there's an authorization letter and ID.

I just called the NVC and the woman on the phone gave me my case number. But I guess I still have to wait for the embassy. I feel like there's so much to do as well. Confirm all my vaccinations get long form birth certificate and my police clearance check😟Lots to do.

Excuse me, but long form birth certificate? As I am from Canada as well I am wondering if I should have a different birth certificate than the one I already have.

Thank you

Long form birth certificate is a more detailed version of a short form (card sized) birth certificate which is what I have.

"Some passport applications require a long form birth certificate which provides the parental information of the subject and more information than a short form birth certificate."

A long form birth certificate is a certified copy of the birth registration. You might need it if you:

  • move to another country
  • become an executor for a foreign estate
  • are adopting a child abroad, or
  • fill out certain citizenship or immigration documents

https://www.ontario.ca/faq/what-type-birth-certificate-needed-passport-application

heres the link I hope this helps. I am not sure if it is required to have a long form birth certificate but I would like to be over prepared than under. More detail means better interview hopefully. 🤗🤗💁🏼
