Hello, I am an April filer but thought of checking you guys here. Are you guys approved already? Since I saw 1 approved Feb filer already in California Service Center processing time. Is that means they have started to process the Feb cases? Is there anyone here that was not approve yet? Best of luck everyone to all the approved and to those that are still waiting including me.. :-)

Approved!!!

Was talking to my fiancee on the phone and we hung up to eat dinner.  I decided to check before cooking, and saw that we were approved.  I called her back right away and we were both so happy.  We already had a visit planned--I'm going to see her and her daughter for a week starting this Saturday--so, this was great start to our upcoming time together.:D

Good luck to all of those still waiting, and congratulations to everyone who got updates.  Though I haven't posted much, I've enjoyed reading everyone's stories and their posts when they get approved.  Reading the excitement of others since I have found this site had made the waiting a little better, knowing that that was the feeling that I had been waiting for, too.

Now that this part of waiting is over, I'm looking forward to spending a week with the ones that I love, then moving on to the next step of the process.

Wow that is so cool reading your comments. Yes the site has been a tremendous help to all of us while we are waiting on the fence.

You and your loved one are very deserving of this and received just in time for your next visit. Enjoy your time together and make sure you never forget these tough times that we will all look back on when we are finally united with the ones we love so much.

We wish you both a speedy next steps!!!!!

Congratulations for all of those couple who got approved!. :)

Our received date is January 17th, and we're still waiting for NOA2. Tomorrow will be exactly 100 days for us. Though sometimes I feel emotional, I believe there's a hope everyday for all of us who still waiting. Beside that, I am happy we have this community, because we strengthen each other with positive mind and attitude when one feel down.

It just the matter of the time. Things will be happens and we will be together with our loved ones.

We just got our RFE in the mail (took only 4 days), and to our astonishment it was because we had not answered some of the very last questions on the form (is your fiance related to you, have you met in the past 2 years).

I swear we checked the forms 10 times, but somehow this happened to us!

It would be an easy fix, but we will end the process here.

Good luck to everyone, hope you all get NOA2s and visas extra fast!! :)

Hi Miina,

We are still waiting for Noa2. I've read copied of the I-129F files from my fiance. He gave to me when we were together 3 weeks ago in Hong Kong trip and found out that he accidentally missed one question about (Have you met in the past 2 years). Though we explained on the declaration of the meeting and proof with lot's of pictures. After reading your RFE here, i think we might get RFE because of this too.

Wish to get the news from USCIS this week. And we can reply with additional more evidence from our second meeting just in case they send us RFE.

Yes, unfortunately you are very likely going to get an RFE for that. Reading previous months' threads, forgetting to tick boxes actually seems more common than you'd expect (I guess our stressed out eyes just refuse to spot these small mistakes). It's easy and quick to fix though, so nothing to worry about :)

You're right Miina. It's easy and quick to fixed. I wonder will it be okay for us to reply an RFE with more of evidence (boarding pass from second meeting, receipt bill with my name and his name on it,  more of photos ) even though they only need us to fix one question?.

Because we want to prove more of our relationship before they send the package to NVC or the US embassy.

Waiting earestly for good news with my partner in Japan. We have a recieved date of 1/25 and a NOA1 date of 1/30.

Hopefully not too much longer! It is very encouraging to see so many people getting aproved recently. Best wishes for everyone else who is still waiting! Our time will come soon. :D

Our received date is the 1/25, same than you ! :) And our NOA1 date is 1/31. I am checking this thread everyday, and also looking at the USCIS case tracking many times per day..

I saw on a report last week that they have already approved 2 cases for 1/25 filers, I am so impatient to see my case approved :D

There's nothing stopping you from sending them all documents you want, but why would you? The RFE will list all the supporting evidence they need, and it is just about missing a tick-box, you don't need to send boarding passes etc.

I used to work as a Visa officer and people had all kinds of unnecessary documents with their applications. I didn't have time to even look at them, so I would just save paper and not provide anything they aren't asking for :)

It won't be long now! I check several times a day too. I think it's actually more stressful knowing that we could be approved any day now than it was when it was still months away. I noticed that you are from Pittsburgh pa! I'm from Lancaster pa...small world!
