Paperwork at time of interview.

Thanks. We have all of it ready, except the police certificate, so I think we are good. Looks like that takes about 2 weeks to get. I have a lawyer hired too, but he is only good with the paperwork (dotting all the I's and such) but is stingy with information like this. I like to know what's going on :)

Kasu06,

I may have an idea of what you're trying to say but I think you should explain to people, in layman's terms, how you reach your conclusion applications reviews are "nonrandom"

Look at 36 "incorrect fee" rejections; they are all consecutive case numbers.

Also, zero REFs out of 146 cases for January 3rd, and 35 RFEs out of 115 for the very next day.

Finally 65% approval rate for January 6-8, and 25% approval rate for the earlier date of January 3rd.

The only explanation I can came up with for this pattern of results is this:

1.    Cases arrive in bunches, of several hundred, for example

2.    Cases are given a first pass examination

3.    Cases are grouped with similar cases, for example cases likely to be rejected, result in RFEs, quickly approved, are placed in separate groups and              are organized consecutively

4.    Cases are assigned WAC ID numbers based on a preset group order

5.    Perhaps cases likely to be quickly approved get ID numbers first, while cases

Really starting to get discouraged seeing couples with noa1 dates after ours get approved. Especially since the two cases directly before and after ours have been reviewed and ours was skipped over. :(

I know how you feel. :(

I really wish the cases were processed in some kind of understandable order.

Oh wow you filed in December. I feel bad for complaining now.

It is very frustrating, doesn't seem like there is a point in rushing to get the petition sent out asap when they are processed almost randomly.

I hope you hear back soon!

Thanks. Are you saying she needs to have proof of the paperwork at the time of scheduling or they will not schedule, or are you saying she can schedule but must have the paperwork at the time of interview?

Yes there are still quite a few of us unlucky December filers. We will all get there eventually, but it is frustrating to see everyone around you being approved while you wait patiently.

I hope you hear back soon as well! Hopefully you won't be waiting as long as me, I don't wish this terribly long wait on anyone.
