It is over’: Congress certifies Trump’s win, over last-ditch Dem objections

A joint session of Congress on Friday formally certified President-elect Donald Trump’s Electoral College victory, over the last-minute objections of several Democratic lawmakers who tried to contest the outcome – and were instructed by Vice President Biden, “It is over.”

The certification clears away any final hurdles for Trump’s road to the inauguration in two weeks.

Trump was certified as winning the White House race with 304 electoral votes to Hillary Clinton’s 227. Mike Pence was certified as the next vice president.

I have to give respects to Joe Biden - He put the smackdown on snowflakes in congress trying to cry about Trump.  Props to him.

 

I am ready for the next 4 years, and watching America get back to what it was in the late 80's.

This is what cracks me up about Americans..they have this weakness for nostalgia.  When you talk to them about going forward they say "yes move forward just like we had it in the olden days"  Americans are putzes.  I am glad I am leaving.   

 

Except for the women, I am sorry to leave the American Women.

The destruction of the GOP by Trump was the Liberal press battle cry for most of 16. There are going to lose both houses, we will never see another Republican President in our life time..  Update me.. How did that work out when the truth got out to the American people.  I will save you some time. Trump made the GOP stronger than ever.  2nd clue. There is one major party in America licking it's wounds for putting a lying, criminal up for President. Hint it wasn't trump. ROFL.. You are so in denial

It is rather enjoyed.  Trump has kicked so much butt already it is great. He is actually keeping his promises.  

The true proof they are truly butt hurt. All you see now is attacks on his hair or some other silly 3rf grade meme.  They have zero of substance to attack him on.

The ones who don't accept it are going to be in for a rough 8 years.  I fully expect Trump to dictate the political scene for the next 20 years, just like Reagan did.
