People that are mentally sick that do things like this are usually inspired by what they see around them and in the news. If not ISIS, that it's constantly about now,  it would likely have been something else. He would probably have snapped regardless due to his mental instability.

I think we can all agree that no matter the terminology used - the bullets exited the gun as he murdered people, and that our subject should not have had his grubby hands on the weapon. Hopefully one day, we can figure out something to correct this issue.

Guns will never go away in the USA.  We were founded on our citizens carrying guns and using them to gain freedom. 

Mexico has very tough gun laws on ownership, they tend to be killing people right and left down there.

I didn't read much of the article, once they started comparing US to Germany I was out.  US has a minority population that has a high number or crime and killings.

 

If you want the ultimate debate ending:  How many babies are killed each year from Abortions in USA?  1,000.000 give or take

 

How many people were killed from a gun using in violence?  10.000 give or take

1) Abortions don't "kill babies". If you had education on the matter you'd know this. I won't even discuss this point further with you, cause I know it's pointless.

2) Even if accepting your misinformed claim above, how does the deaths of 100,000 justify the death of 10,000? Your logic is about as flawed as it gets.

1,000,000  As in one million not 100,000.  You are picking up pennies and tripping over dollars.  Focus on the bigger picture.

Lives aren't pennies and dollars... it's not a budget equation where rounding to nearest 100k will make the numbers look "neater". Many of the deaths of the 10,000 can still be prevented. You can't claim the "I-care-about-life-ban-abortions"- (il)logic in one breath and then blatantly disregard the lives of 10,000 in your next breath. I realize it conveniently fits your agenda, but that's the very definition of hypocrisy.

With Trump SCOTUS we have a much better over turning Roe vs Wade, than banning guns.  As I said stick to what you have a chance at defending or winning.

Although not the brightest star in the night sky.. I do think even Trump knows that would be political suicide. If it turns out he doesn't, that'll be the day the US truly reverts to the middle ages and I will honestly be leaving this country if that happens.
