"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt

Yeah I did not know it was on but last year's bachelor was a Jerk. You know I heard of TV that Prince dumped his first choice then contacted the second place one and they are a thing now.

He is a jerk and a pompous on at it to boot :D

Anyone else watching the new season of The Bachelor?

I just found out I went to college with this guy! Never knew him. Probably saw him at some frat party or something though! :)

I went to high school with Joan Severance, but I graduated from school ahead of her. I remember her well because she was into modeling before she broke into acting and she stood out because she was always dressed up to the nines as compared to most of the other hippie chicks at school. I mostly remember her when she played Susan Profitt on the TV series WISEGUY in the 1980's, but she was in a lot of other movies and TV productions too.

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

US Congresswoman Barbara Jordan (D-TX)

Testimony to the House Immigration Subcommittee, February 24, 1995

I missed it on Monday, but I think there's a way to go online and watch missed episodes. I will definitely be tuning in from now on. 3 girls from my hometown are still on there, and one of them, Kate, called into our local radio station and did an interview. She threw out some interesting tidbits. Apparently, Stephanie is going to be the one America loves to hate....

My mom thinks he is hot!

hmmm they made him look too good to be true. hmmm I don't know, we have a saying in Brazil: Quando a esmola é demais o santo desconfia - the translation would be something like ''When the alms is too large, even a saint will be suspicious''. I think there is something wrong with him. If I were rich, hot, sexy 30 year old us navy medical officer triathlete there is no way I would be trying to find a woman to marry, unless I was trying to prove something

So it's down to the final four. Any predictions?

I think it's tough to call at this point, since Bevin hasn't yet revealed her divorce, and from the previews, it seems like the hometown visits don't go very well.

I'd say Bevin, but it looks like the divorce thing upsets Andy. I'd say Tessa, but IMO she really doesn't seem all that into him.

Can't wait for tonight!
