I don't know what happened, but I'm really stoked!!! I woke up and checked my email today and here's what it said -

Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status:

Approval notice sent.

On April 11, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR

FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the

notice, call customer service.

I'm guessing this is the NOA2? Can't believe the CSC approved it in 10 days, I was preparing my self for a 3 month wait!

Whatever it is, it sounds pretty good! Woo hoo!!

2-12-2007: Receipt Date - Received by Texas USCIS

2-16-2007: Notice Date

2-22-2007: check cashed

2-24-2007: Received NOA1 letter in mail (from CA)

5-16-2007: touched

5-17-2007: approved

5-21-2007: NOA2 in da mail

2-26-2007: sent 129f overnight via USPS (should get to them on 2-27-2007 by noon)

3-1-2007: Receipt date - Received by chicago center (noted on Notice I-797)

3-5-2007: Notice Date (I-797)(Also noted on the Notice I797-C)

3-7-2007: Check cashed

3-10-2007: Received NOA1 in the mail(Notice I797)

6-14-2007: Wife overnights packet 3 which was downloaded from the mumbai consulate site, filled it out, and sent it in along with other documents

Oh I constantly check the USCIS website...but worse than that, since I've already read everything on VJ that applies to me...I'm now reading all the stuff on VJ that doesn't apply to me too! lmao I'm just starved for information or something to get through this terrible waiting period!

Oh I'm with ya on this one. I'm now reading stuff from the threads started out by the Brazilian VJers and those are in Portuguese!!! Which is close to Spanish but not quite. :lol:

No touches since April 4. My timeline, which had predicted approval as early as May 20th now predicts June 1. The predicted date has been slipping consistently for the past few days.

I got my notice of transfer to CSC this weekend.

Wife's visa journey:

03/19/07: Initial mailing of I-129F.

07/07/11: U.S. Citizenship approved and Oath Ceremony!

MIL's visa journey:

07/26/11: Initial mailing of I-130.

05/22/12: Interview passed!
