How do we get an interview in Juárez?

Hello!

 

My fiancé filled out his DS-160 today online. I know there is a waiting period before interview appointments open up. Approximately how long will this be for Juárez? Right now, the screen just says "no appointments available." Are we automatically put in a waiting line after finishing the DS-160? So far, we just got a confirmation letter saying we submitted our visa app. We want to make sure we aren't missing a step and waiting in limbo forever.

Right, the confusing thing is when we open the screen to schedule an appointment, it just says "no available appointments." So we aren't sure what to do now (if anything).

Hi there! Don't wait around since there is no automatic queue or waiting list. You just basically keep checking until appointment slots open up. Most likely because of the holidays they are booked... but keep checking throughout the day until something opens up.

I called in to get our NVC case # on 4/26/16 and completed the DS-160 by the 28th. That same day I created the ASC account and interview appts were available as soon as 2 weeks out.

You must have gotten lucky. We have had several days of a "no appointments available" screen.

Honestly I think it just has to do with timing because of the holidays and the new (increased) fee schedule that took effect 12/23/16. They are probably really backed up. Just keep checking every day and hopefully something opens up soon for you!

Wait, just kidding. Now it says consulate interviews are available but nothing for the ASC appointment. So we STILL can't book. What to do?

ooh no idea, I have my ASC scheduled in DF, try calling your ASC
