Hi all,

I thought I'd update you on our situation (husband losing greencard right before filing I-751), especially since I kept going on and on about it right? My husband went to another Infopass appt. this morning with the NOA and passport. Sounds like the officer he spoke with gave him some trouble and almost didn't believe his story. She ended up giving him a make-shift form (piece of notebook paper) to fill out with the date he lost his greencard and when she eventually called him back to collect it, she already had the stamp in his passport.

I just noticed that she didn't use our case application # (I-797 NOA) for reference on the passport stamp, but a different one she must have looked up on their system... it turns out the # she used is the same as the one that was on our bio fee receipt, which he didn't have with him at all.

Well, that's about it... hope it doesn't matter that he said he lost his greencard 2 weeks before he actually did (and before what was included in the petition we filed). :innocent:

Thanks for all the support,

Abygail
