do not use any suggestion website. Try this and you will be happy. http://www.savingcall.com This site will give you option to print out your call log and they charge per minute used. Cost 11.9 cents to mobile, and 8.9 cents to land line. I had tried all those suggest website calling card and did not get a good result on it. They cheated.. I had been using this service from May 2006 until now. Hopefully, i dont need to use it anymore by the end of this month. cuz my wife will be here. ;) Good luck.

If you use internet and have a computer there you can buy an ATA VoIP to use forever and private. I dont know much about it. You can email to ask Kevin because his company works on it. Here is his company website: www.telephonyware.com

You can send him email on VJ too.

All best wishes.

Well, i knew your frustration. I had been through all of these fone card stuff since 2000 till now. So i am telling you these guy savingcall.com got my vote for this really nice thing that you can do is just call the dial number and enter the vietnam number. You can program it to speed dial. All you have to do is dial the number and hit 1#.

Yes, I did. It works great. Just hook it up to the DSL or Cable internet in Vietnam, you will get a dial tone. People in Vietnam can just dial like it here in the State. For example, I am in Orange County (714) area code, and the Vonage phone got the 714 area code too. My wife just needs to dial the xxx-xxxx. I can call her anytime too. There are 2 kind of services at Vonage. 14.99 for 500 minute or 24.99 for unlimited. I must warn you first, if you want to use the Vonage for Vietnam, there will be 2 options.

1. If you have no computer knowledge such as dealing with Vonage router device then Order the VOnage device and Activate it in Vietnam. Vonage send it to you and do not plug it in to the your Dsl or Cable connection from here. Just bring the brand new Vonage box back to Vietnam, and Plug it into the Dsl or cable over there. This will give you less problem and trouble shoot to deal with.

2. For computer Knowledge people, You can order and test it here. Sound like regular Land Line. But when you bring it back to Vietnam, some how the the setting in the Vonage Box tied to your current Internet setting in the state. YOu will not get a dial tone or any service.

Now go back to your Manual and look for the option to reset your Vonage Box so it can get the IP address from Vietnam. Little tricky, It took me a few hours to get it Clear the IP from the state and accept the new IP address in Vietnam.

Well, that is all. You dont' have to deal with the Calling Card any more and save some money. Other cool stuff, you have to login to the your Vonage account and play with different setting like VOnage phone will ring to multile phone when someone call to that number. well, i will let you guy find out hehhehe.
